Love the brush! It get the shaving soap into a nice lather. Feels great on the face. Couldn't tell it was synthetic.

Actually surprised at the quality and value for what you get. Fits all of the DE razors I own. The soap isn’t bad. But could be more “latherly”

It's a good budget shaving set. The brush is nylon fibers. It says the handle is solid wood but it REALLY feels like plastic to me, I would be very surprised if there is any actual wood in there.The bowl has a 304 stamp on the bottom and is heavily brushed, debatably too much so. The groves feel just a tad too deep and it makes for an aggressive texture. No actual sharp edges though.There are sleeves on both the brush and razor holders to prevent scratching and marring. Welding on the joints of the stand definitely could use some improving but it's tolerable and functionable. Unfortunately the razor holder is slightly small doesn't work perfectly, at least with my weighted double edged safety razor. It only fits in the holder right at the neck where my razor gets slightly narrower, but the entire handle of my razor won't fit in the holder.It includes a soap bar that is ok. It's too fragrant for my tastes but it didn't irritate my skin and lathered up well enough.At the time of review it is priced at $19. This would be a three star or lower review if it was priced more than that. Budget product for a budget price. I recommend it in that price range as a starter set or a wallet friendly option.

I just used it😁. The shaving is very soft & the soap smells good. I usually don't use soaps but I'm go to use this pick😏. This shaving kit is cool AF!!

This synthetic badger shaving brush set is awesome! This comes very presentable and would make a great gift idea. It looks great when all set up with a nice razor on the hook.The brush is very nice. It is shiney and the brush part feels like something out of a high end barber shop. I like the black line on the bristles too. Helps me not pack the brush to much . This is very classy feeling.The bowl is really nice and has a good weight to it and fits well under the wire rack. It has a logo lasered or acid etched into the sideThe soap feels like a hand made soap and lathers well to get a good slick shave. This entire kit including the soap feels luxury and classy. Its smell is very classic.Overall I feel like this is a very nice kit. The only thing missing is a bladed or safety shaver and there are several that work great out there. I feel like this would make a great gift to a guy who enjoys a nice shave and to look good. Highly recommend

I’ve wanted a set like this for our bathroom for years and finally decided to get it. I love the look of it, a bit old fashioned, yet the stainless look adds a touch of modern. The brush is soft. The stand could be a tad bit more weighted, I’ve knocked it over a few times. And the soap has a very nice, light scent to it. Excited to finally have a set and love how it looks!!

Sometimes the old ways are just more satisfying. Building your own lather and using a single edge blade is a different kind of experience than just dragging a disposable across your face.Now, this kit has no blade but it has a great brush and soap bowl. While the brush is synthetic badger, it’s soft enough to be comfortable but stiff enough to work great. The soap makes a great lather, but I’m not a huge fan of the smell. It’s an authentic throwback fragrance so I’m not going to judge.Very nice setup, especially if you’re new to the brush and soap routine.
