absolutely beautiful, and movie accurate! !!!
I knew master cutlery was gonna start making this first blood knife to the real movie specs and they really did a fantastic job on this one!! Until now no company has produced this knife screen accurate, this time they added the sharpening stone with pouch on the sheath, and the sheath is absolutely beautiful! The most important part is the knife, very good quality, razor sharp, and for the first time ever the grind on the front clip of the knife has the correct grind, and the screen accurate 14 top saw teeth is awesome! I've been a knife collector for over 20 years and I do own all the rambo knives ever produced from the few companies that were licensed to produce it and not one knife was as correct as this masterpiece addition! 5 stars, I'm buying another!

nice knife !
Rambo First Blood knife was packaged very well, came sharp and had everything included. Delivered in one day ! Worth the price in every way and the sheath was also very nice. Looking inside the handle,it appears the blade and hollow handle are connected together by a much more substantial fastener than what I have seen on previous models. Being a hollow handle knife you still shouldn't baton or bang around with it,but would do very well as a general task knife. Overall excellent blade for the price, plus I've wanted one for a long time !

Nice Knife
Very nice, very sharp, very scary. I used it camping and it is just a hoot for being as large as it is. Hopefully won't have to hunt with it as a spear while sitting in a tree. The little compass in the handle cap was loose, but a little silicone seal fixed that. The compass actually works, unlike a youtube video claims - the youtube shooter had the compass too close to the knife, and the compass was deflected by the steel in the knife. Use it properly and it works. Must be careful when cap is off not to dump the little plastic bag with the "survival" kit in it. Matches in the survival kit could have been significant for our 5 day camping trip when the little fireplace-lighter style fire source failed on the 3rd day. Fortunately I had slipped a Bic cigarette lighter into my pocket, but had I not, those matches would have been really important.

Great movie replica for a budget.
The Master Cutlery First Blood knife is pretty good replica. I own the original United Cutlery First Blood knife as well which was released in 1989. This Master Cutlery here, definitely suffers some in quality. The handle is the major downfall of this knife IF your a serious collector who really cares about accuracy. If not...no need to keep reading because for a budget movie prop I recommend it 100%. For collectors, the handle is way thinner than the movie knife or the United Cutlery version and it used cheaper cording which is a brighter green than the original or the UC version. The O Ring isn't on the butt cap where it should be, but on the handle itself. Easily fixed though with a .40 cent rubber O ring. The compass is very cheap and looks nothing like the movie compass. I quickly replaced it. The butt cap screws on kind of rough and has a slight grinding sound to it. it's not a smoothly threaded piece. It's going to take some oil working. The up side is the blade is GORGEOUS. It's much more accurate than the United Cutlery blade which only has 12 saw teeth. This one has the movie accurate 14 saw teeth. The blade is a bit thinner than the United Cutlery, but not enough to really notice. It shines up fantastic as well. The packaging is much better than the UC with a molded cut out that the knife securely sits in. I like the Leather Sheath better as well. It comes with the sharpening stone on it as seen in the movie. If I could have the MC blade on the UC handle...that would be the ultimate First Blood knife, but all in all, this knife is fine. Especially if your not a hard core collector that is super into accuracy and just want a Rambo knife. If that's the case...then this knife is for you. If I never had the United Cutlery version, this knife would have been a dream come true. It's just a shame about the handle. The knife is constructed very well, will not fall apart and has great balance.I don't regret buying it one bit despite the quality downfalls from the United Cutlery version in 1989.
