While I was researching the market for these, I was frustrated because there a different sets of reviews for each vendor who is selling these on Amazon. I'm usually uncomfortable with devices that have low numbers of reviews. All of these things made me conclude that the Anbernic devices are low quality. Then I did a deep dive on YouTube. The wide adoption of raspberry pi for embedded computing needs has resulted in commoditized game boys with mature, quality, open source feature sets, and this realization couldn't make me happier. Other reviews are going to say stay away unless you know how to tinker with emulator and linux stuff. I say if you don't know how to look up and follow YouTube tutorials, then you are failing at life. Seriously, this unit is great for first generation 3D gaming and I'm proud to say that I'm going to spend lots of free time using it.

I’ve have plenty of high end handhelds but find myself always leaving on trips with this one.. why? Simple. I love how this one just more portable and easy to throw in my travel bag. Out of the box is already great and ready to use.. but if you’re tech savvy you should definitely update the software for more of a better interface.

The media could not be loaded. WARNING: DO NOT BUY! This device failed after a mere few weeks. Seller is completely unresponsive, leaving me with an expensive paperweight. With the return window closed, I've lost my entire investment. Avoid this scam and save your money!

For what it is, it's fun. I knew before purchasing there would be a very limited range on which systems run well on here and certain trade offs then buying more expensive models, but for the gameboy and ps1 games I like, this is amazing! This device is not too hard to use if you know a little about technology. I personally will be upgrading to a more powerful device just so I can have a fuller range to play with more up recent systems but this device will become my traveling and work buddy till then:)

Support for postmaster, psx, and every 3d, 32bit system no issues. I highly recommend installing knulli and working out of the knulli OS as it looks better than the stock OS. I upgraded the microsd bc I have read that the ad is prone to failure but no issues during the first two weeks. I really recommend this as it has become my main RetroArch machine.

The system is nice however it came with nothing on it no games no emulators nothing I had to do all the work myself and no instructions as well.
