Leaked in Shipping!
While this product performs well, it came with the HCl or Part B half empty because it leaked in shipping. Since you can't buy that part separately, when I run out of Part B, I'll have to throw away the remainder of the Part A, because the NaClO2 is useless without the activating HCl. So I'm giving two stars as half the product is necessarily wasted.

Easy-to-use solution for ensuring clean water
This water purification kit is a practical and easy-to-use solution for ensuring clean water. The two separate bottles make it simple to mix the correct proportions, and the instructions printed on the bottles are very helpful. I appreciate that it's made in the USA, and it seems like a reliable product for camping, travel, or emergency situations. The small bottles are convenient to pack, and they provide a good amount of solution. It's reassuring to have a way to purify water when I'm away from home or in situations where clean water isn't readily available. It's a simple and effective way to ensure safe drinking water.NOTE: I am a member of the Vine Voice program and received this item at no cost in exchange for my honest review. Peace Of Mind - Chlorine Dioxide Disinfectant
Since discovering the safe water purification properties of Chlorine Dioxide (CLO2), I never want to be without it. It is so easy to mix the 3 drops of 25% Sodium Chlorite (NaCl) and the very dilute 4% Hydrochloric Acid (HCL) 3 drops in a clean 4oz container. The mixture (CLO2) turns a dark amber color...wait 60 seconds, then add 4 oz of purified or distilled water. I usually pour this into a little spray bottle for convenience or it can be diluted in a larger water drinking pitcher. There are so many uses: I use it often to sanitize my toothbrush, spray the cat litter box, put in the dishwasher & wash machine rinse thingy, wash my fruits & veggies- which makes them last longer. My cat got a golf ball size cat fight wound. I rinsed it out 2x a day with diluted CLO2 and it healed up within 3 days.I was cleaning out some rotting moldy oak leaves last week. Later that evening my sinuses were badly plugged up, so I diluted a few drops of the CLO2 in a syringe with 10 ml of water, put it into my nose (it burns a little), held it for a minute before blowing it out, repeated once more and by bedtime I could breath clearly, thus avoiding what could have been a week of miserable sinus infection. This would have come in handy before I knew about this water purification method when I backpacked in the Tetons for six weeks, upon getting water from streams but concerned the pump water filter had failed. This kit is easy to use, the bottles are clearly labeled. Just remember to put the same cap back on each bottle right after dispensing your drops so you don't mix them up.

Everybody needs multiple ways to purify water
This kit stays with our camping gear. It's easy to use but super important to follow the directions. This solution when mixed properly can disinfect water for drinking fairly quickly. Usually within minutes. It's an excellent value and something most folks should have if they're serious about prepping for emergencies.

Easy to use
Mixing this up is a breeze with Part A and Part B being 1:1. The instructions state that 3 drops of each in 4oz will produce 50 ppm of chlorine dioxide which is way too much to for drinking water. At 50 ppm, it has a strong chlorine smell which makes my stomach turn. The limit of chlorine dioxide in drinking water set by the EPA is only 0.8 ppm so 50 ppm is over 60x the EPA limit.
