Battery-first daily driver with an excellent display (base M4 was the right choice)
Amazing laptop and a great value, especially bought used. I use it every day as my main machine for studying, work, and entertainment. Even though I have a strong Windows desktop (RTX 5070, 7800X3D, 48 GB RAM, 4 TB SSD), I still prefer using this MacBook at my desk about 95% of the time. I keep it simple: one USB-C cable into a hub/dock and I am set. The display is also a major reason I chose this over my old MacBook Air M2. For watching movies and videos at night, it is a noticeable upgrade. I am an electrical engineering student, so a lot of the software I need is Windows-only or simply runs better on Windows (Cadence, MATLAB/Simulink, LTspice, and possibly PowerWorld later). My workflow is to remote into my desktop via AnyDesk when I need those tools. I keep Parallels as a backup for when I do not have reliable internet or cannot reach my PC. Parallels works fine for what I need, but it can be janky at times, which is why I prefer remote when possible. I chose the base M4 instead of an M4 Pro tier on purpose. For my use case, battery life mattered more than peak sustained performance. I also have a one-time Parallels Standard license that caps VMs at 4 CPU cores anyway, so paying for more CPU cores would not meaningfully improve my typical VM usage. If you are deciding between M4 and M4 Pro, I would think hard about how you actually use the machine. If you live in light-to-moderate workloads, want great battery life, and care about unplugged time, the base M4 is hard to beat. If this is your only machine and you regularly push heavy, sustained workloads locally, then the Pro tier can make sense. Condition note (used purchase): mine arrived with a small corner scuff and a tiny display chip (roughly a 3x3 pixel area on a very high-resolution screen). The battery was newly replaced and arrived at 100% health, so the trade-off was worth it for the deal I got. One downside: after adding a PET screen protector, that chip became slightly more noticeable because the protector can form a small bubble around that spot, which stands out more on white/light backgrounds.

Perfect Laptop for Productivity
I have had this laptop for 6 months now. It feels very premium, the screen is great, battery is great, keyboard and trackpad is great, and performance is great. It handles what ever task I need if to do. It was also easy to set up as well. Since I got the 14 inch it was also very portable. I don't have any regrets buying it.

Solid Apple quality.
Excellent, super fast, light weight computer. Thumb print log in is excellent. I wish Apple would add facial recognition.

Great Product
Best laptop I’ve ever had!!!! Durable, reliable, leagues above the 2019 MacBook Pro intel chip. Battery life is amazing. Out performs the intel chipset models by a landslide.

Exactly what I needed
After 8 years using a different mac, it was hard for me to switch. I am so glad I did. This mac is a little smaller than my old one but very fast and doesn't overheat. The weight is heavier than their normal line but thats because of the cooling fans, etc. Very quiet! Performs great and is easy to use! I love the quality of the screen - so crisp. I use it for photo editing and content creation. It is the best laptop.

Super fast! Long Battery Life!!!
Super fast. Long battery life. I can go days before having to charge my battery. Sturdy. Graphics are amazing. Can toggle between screens easily, I can go on but will stop here. 5 ⭐️’s for the Mac itself. Overall - 4 ⭐️’s because I disliked the mismatched cord and charging block. My new MacBook Pro came with a black charging cord and white charging block. In my opinion this presentation cheapened the appearance of my MacBook Pro. 😌

Amazing Processing Time
Love the size and speed of this Macbook Pro. I am a photographer and videographer so having a computer that can handle the amount of storage I need and process editing with out lag makes my job 1000 times easier. Easy to transport and and take on business trips, easy to set up and great quality all around, so thankful I bought.
