Made in Japan quality.
As this was an original Canon product there was very little chance anything could wrong and did not.The dye sub cassettes have "Made in Japan" on them which was a total surprise and gave me a different kind of assurance, especially as this is my first foray into Canon Selphy printers and media, though I do print in larger formats for my wedding photography work.I'm no sure where the paper is made but the prints look good although very thin when compared to old 35mm film prints but perhaps thats how it is now, the quality is still there. I do wish matt finish was available, whilst these are classed as glossy they're not super gloss but I'd say a little in between but I still prefer matt finishes.I would suggest having the box packed in Amazon packaging as mine was torn one size, as these retail boxes are not meant to be handled roughly and can easily open.Printing in this system is more expensive when compared to the general high street prints but you're entangled in the convenience of it and thats very useful with near to if not better looking prints, especially if you tweak settings so you have the possibility of more control IF you want too. Also the price for this 108 pack is great value when compared to other big named suppliers, it brings down the per print price considerably.I have mostly have printed via my calibrated laptop using ICC profiles but yield more accurate results with my 100% sRGB desktop monitor, so prints match what I see. As prints are inheritantly darker when compared to your "standard" white point screens normally around 6000-6500k and 120+ cd/m2, for printing its ideal to calibrate to around 5000-55000k and 80cd/m2. This will make your display darker but essentially match your prints. So if you now correct/brighten your images they will print as now seeen on screen.Using the app is easier but very very simplistic but really needs and overhaul. Yoiu wlll need third party apps if you want to edit, essentially the Canon app is just a print portal with some "fun" options. Also if editing on your phone, unless its a good quality screen or possible to calibrate theres not much accuracy you'll see but you can dim the brightness to around 50% then set brightness of the images in app and then print, this will requires a few tests though. Normally you can getr some number metrics of how bright the screen is, make a note and use that every time you want to edit and print from your phone but stay out of bright lights when doing so.

Very easy to use
I couldn't make my mind up whether to buy a Selphy printer because they are quite expensive, as is the paper/ink. However the output is stunning. The pictures are self-laminated which means they will last a very long time, and the ink is really good quality. Using these printer cartridges and paper is very easy and you get plenty in the pack. The Selphy printer is so small I can pack it into my suitcase and print out pictures while I'm on holiday. One of my holiday activities now is to print out and make up albums while away - it's quick and easy to do and the results are great.

Great quality, if a tad expensive
It's funny how the ink and paper effectively run out at more or less the same time. It's nearly impossible to buy the ink and the paper separately. It certainly pushes the cost of colour printing up a bit, but it's really nice to be able to print off a picture and have a hardcopy. Print quality is great. The pictures don't seem to fade much/at all, so very happy. It's a handy printer to have in the house, and to be fair, it doesn't cost the earth to run!

Does a perfect job
I love this, but it's getting very expensive, the quality of the photos are perfect though.

Colour printer for photos
Quality seems very good on the first few prints I have done so far - The printer does 3 passes of the paper under the ink roll and so if the rollers slip I suppose the print will be blurred. However it looks good to me. I must keep it clean when not using it. This box supplies come as 3 roller ink packages (to do 36 prints) and 6 paper packages (18 sheets). All are sealed in plastic wrappers so are clean. Cost per print is about 30p

Awesome
I bought the Selphy CP900 and cant rate it high enough. This is the colour set for that printer. As i said in my review of the printer Im getting about 5 rejects from colour inconsistencies, nothing major and me being picky, but its easy and cheap enough to reprint. All the paper comes packed in separate bags with three toner type arrangements. There is sufficient paper and ink to do the whole box.Its very fast to print and from taking the photo to completed printing is less than a minute ( if you put ur card straight in)Not very many people print off photos any more, and they get left to linger in a eternity of electronic storage, with the Canon Selphy CP900 liberate your photos, frame them, rotate them, who cares if everybody can see you are happy? A picture speaks a thousand words, and by using this product you cant go wrong, print them off let them speak an autobiography! you could decorate your house with thousands of happy photos! for half the price of going to boots!Awesome product
