While the premise is gripping, the short story format left me wanting more
⭐️⭐️⭐️ 3/5 Stars (Good)Setting: New York CityGenre: Short Story; ThrillerThe Housemaid’s Wedding offers a quick, suspenseful interlude in the twisted world of the Housemaid series. As always, Millie’s life is anything but simple—even on her wedding day. The tension builds from page one, with Freida McFadden’s signature blend of paranoia and plot twists that kept me turning pages. However, while. The pacing felt rushed, and the emotional weight of Millie’s relationship and the threat she faces didn’t have enough space to fully develop. Longtime fans of the series will enjoy revisiting Millie’s world and savoring the breadcrumbs of what’s to come in The Housemaid is Watching, but this story functions more as a bridge than a standalone thrill. If you’re a devoted follower of the Housemaid series, this quick read will scratch the itch between books. But if you’re looking for the deep twists and layered suspense McFadden is known for, you might find this installment a bit too fleeting. #thehousemaidswedding #booked_this_weekend

This is a very good short story, a thriller with some humor
This is a perfect short story, a thriller with a touch of humor. It features a few of the same characters as the first Housemaid thriller and follows the second one, but even if you haven't read the two prior books, Freida McFadden is such a skilled writer that you'll enjoy this tale. It is about a woman who helped battered women in the past, being threatened on her wedding day by the husband of one of these women

Book Damaged
The story was great and quick read and if you've read the others in the series this is a nice little addition however, what ever company used to manufacture this book is awful. Multiple pages were folded, ripped or smooshed and one page was not even bound in the book it was just slid in.

3.5 Short Story
The Housemaid’s Wedding is a short story and just 63 pages. It is meant as a quick filler between books two and three of the Housemaid series. It’s not to be taken seriously; and is a fun and very quick read for the fans who wanted to read about Millie and Enzo’s wedding.I didn’t have to read about their wedding, but when McFadden mentioned it and I was able to buy a paperback copy for the inexpensive price of $2.79 I jumped at the chance! McFadden wrote this for the fans and is not making any money off this short story being written. I enjoyed it and I listened to the entire Housemaid series on audiobook, I heard the narrator Lauryn Allman’s voice as Millie again as I read this one! Allman is perfect as Millie for me with the audiobooks. I can’t wait to see how the movie will be.Read it or not, that is up to you as the reader. If you have enjoyed The Housemaid series then I say go for it. Just remember, it’s a very short and quick read!

Short but sweet
This was a good read. The only reason I gave it four stars is because it was way too short. I love the housmad,s books they're all amazing.
