You get what you pay for! in this case Extra cost is well deserved
I needed a good heavy duty vise that could fit in my limited space, and almost got tempted by the sub £40 "cast/forged" chinese knock off vises, but the images of those pointed to very poor quality. So I did some research, and yep Vises are not cheap for the real deal, and for someone on a budget I cant afford £200+, now this vise is not cheap when compared to the chinese stuff on here, BUT, this thing is VERY well made, it's well finished too, you can immediately see and feel it's a quality peice of kit, and well up to thejobs I have in mind for it, so please don't get conned and buy cheap, you will end up buying twice in the end!, speand that bit more (this was like £80), and buy something that I fully expect to last me a lifetime ;)

Host vice
Works great! After mounting, I used the vice to regrip my golf clubs. The vise is very sturdy and smooth operating. Great purchase!

Solid, sturdy, and smooth operation. Great vise.
I love this vise. I got the 5.5" one as an upgrade from my previous one which was often too small, or would slip on my workbench. My previous one was the kind that tightens itself on the the workbench but doesn't bolt in. The Yost 455 is the perfect size for my projects and allows me to bolt it down so it's easy to use.Let me share the bolts, washers, and lockingnuts you will want to use for mounting this. There is some conflicting information in the Q&A and reviews. If you have a workbench where you can drill through the top, I can say definitively that the best way to mount it is use the base as a template and mark where the holes are in the base. Then use a 1/2" drill bit to drill holes through the tabletop. I used the following hardware which should work for anyone. You'll just need to adjust the bolt length for the width of your tabletop.Bolts: 1/2 in.-13 x 2-1/2 in. Hex Bolt (2.5" was the right length for my tabletop, you made need shorter or longer)Washers: 1/2 in flat washers with a 1 in outer diameter (OD) (1/2" inner diameter)Locking nuts: 1/2 in.-13 Nylon Lock NutAll the mounting hardware set me back about $11 at the local orange colored hardware store. It would have been nice if the hardware was included, but the vise itself is a great value regardless.

Buena relación calidad precio. Producto de calidad!
Estuve analizado opciones por varios dias y este fue el que más me agrado por la relación calidad precio. Muy resistente. Se supone que es para trabajos ligeros pero yo lo veo de calidad industrial.

Great vise
Make sure to mount this properly (I used metal washers above and below to distribute pressure and small rubber washers between the vice and my bench top for maximum stability), and it’ll work beautifully. Swivel works great (360 degrees) and it does its job. Super solid and good value.

Good from the price point
For light jobs ok...not for heavy duty stuffs. I you need to hammer and knock hard this is not a vise for you. Other than that sawing etc it's suitable. The vise it's a bit light in weight and does not give one a solid feeling when using.
