COBI 2972 Small Army Tank Mark I", 605 building bricks

I bought this for myself and it's quite good quality for nockoff lego

Superb product, historically accurate and a wonderful model. Tough to build as all the bricks are green but well worth the end result. This is too hard for an 8 year old but I enjoyed the challenge!!Great fun for my boy to play with and he wants more Cobi models.

This was not the easiest build. It is not something you can disengage your brain and just build on. Twice, I thought it was missing pieces - but in each case, I found, I had made a mistake and the pieces had landed in the wrong place. Cannot blame COBI for any of that. Instructions are clear enough and a slightly challenging build has its own blessings.Small quality issues, hence only 4 stars. I had to de-bur some of the plates. Also many pieces have injection marks. In most cases these can be hidden by rotating the piece. After I became aware of this and did some modification, it looks acceptable. Unfortunately 2 pieces are printed on the side where the injection mark is.On to the positive: All pieces are printed, no stickers. The print is generally good. Very precise. As are the pieces. Except an occasional bur. All fits well. COBI is rather tight, best to check before pressing down, as they are sticking well. I suggest having a prying tool ready. (Kitchen knife or a spudger.)Both tracks rotate. Not as smooth as the one on the Renault WWI tank. But they rotate. If they don't, I would suggest checking the orientation of the wheels. Especially on the underside of the tank, where they are put on backwards. Only there, they need to be mounted onto the their black plates concave side first. Also, the tracks need to ride between the side wall and wheel. I used 44 pieces per track as by the instruction. That makes the tracks sit tight, but not too tight.All in all a nice model. These Cobi kits just keep on getting better and better. The models are becoming almost scale now, and it great to see such an unusual subject for a construction toy.. Full marks.

My grandsons into tanks at the moment and he's really likes these models he thinks they are better than other model makers

The media could not be loaded.  This was my second cobi build (did the french Renault first) and this one was even better than the first. 100% as good as Lego. Challenging build but very satisfied. Very well engineered and great copy of the original tank (as well as you can with building blocks). Directions are well done, all the pieces were there and fit and tracks, cannons, hatches all move. For anyone that likes building blocks and tanksnthese are well worth the money (witch is actually not that expensive for the quility). They hold together well enough that my 4 year old can roll them around on the carpet like a toy and no pieces fell off. Huge plus. Would recommend to anyone.

Se trata de una bonita maqueta del primer tanque usado en la primera guerra mundial. Completa y bien acabada, con pocos defectos (movimiento de la cadena torpe e insignias de color pequeñas). Por lo demás, buena calidad, ajuste bueno e instrucciones adecuadas. Buena compra

Schönes, außergewöhnliches Modell und mit knapp über 600 auch nicht klein. Die Preise schwanken hier, doch unter 40 Euro liegt es eigentlich immer. Preiswert.Die Qualität ist super, Verpackung, Anleitung und natürlich die Steine. Die halten fest. Es gibt einige sehr intelligente Bausteine die der großen Konkurenz auch gut stehen würden.Der Bau ist interessant, eine Seite wird über Kopf gebaut. Die Kette läuft super, das Modell ist äußerst stabil, definitiv auch zum Spielen geeignet. Etwas unglücklich sind die beiden Kanonen auf die Achsen gestopft. Das geht sehr schwer, die Achsen werden weiss vor Anstrengung, das Plastik verbiegt sich. Ab geht das dann nicht mehr. Aber dafür hält es.Wenig spezielle Teile, keine Aufkleber, alle Verzierungen sind aufgedruckt auf die Steine. Es gibt zwei Bauschritte, ich habe ca. 90 Minuten für den Aufbau gebraucht. Und dabei sehr viel Spaß und Freude gehabt.
