Salerno Cookies, The Original Butter Cookies, 8 Ounce (Pack of 4)

My husband has loved these cookies since he was a little boy but for more than 10 years we have not been able to find them. Every time we were in a new store we would look for them without any luck. Finally the other day I told him there hadn't been anything that I have wanted that I haven't been able to find on Amazon so would give it a try. And sure enough there they were, even the brand that he had always loved. I have a very happy nearly 80 year old husband and I will reorder every time he gets down to one box! Actually have already ordered another 4 boxes as our son and his daughter also loved them.

Took me back to my pre-K days when I put them on my finger and ate them one petal at a time.

They were so hard to find on the grocery shelves this holiday season, so I turned to Amazon to save the day!

I went on a search for these cookies which I liked in my childhood. It's a simple butter cookie, but sooo good.I finally found them and I was NOT disappointed.I highly recommend.You DO have to buy 4 boxes at a time. The trick is to NOT consume all four boxes in a week.

In my search for that old fashion butter cookie flavor, these came close. I tried two different brands and these were by far the better of the two. I’m sure there are more to try but I’m pretty satisfied with these.

Thanks for getting this childhood favorite to my home.to share with grandbabies.

Expiration date March 2, 2024…ordered April 24 and received April 29, 2024…super disappointed that cookies were stale.
