Amazing bonding product.
Rapid fix is an amazing product if used correctly.I don't know how anybody can give this product less than five stars. I bonded over 30 items with product. it is very easy to use and works in minutes. My first experience with rapid fix came when my handyman/mechanic, inexplicably broke the thermostat housing after he tightened the bolt too hard. (He is no longer my handyman) I couldn't find the part in the local junkyard and the dealer wanted way too much. I tried jb weld. major fail. I took a chance on rapidfix. I held the broken piece perfectly aligned to the bigger piece. poured lliquid, then sand and then liquid again (both inside and outside). Within ten minutes i tested it by smashing it over the pavement. It didn't budge. I drove the car for over 2 years after i installed it back through 2 summers without an issue. The second repair worth mentioning ,which i used rapid fix for was a 4 inch crack on an aluminum rim in my 2008 mercury sable (big pothole). The crack was so bad that air would immediately come out. I used rapidfix on both sides. At first air was coming out, since a whole layer above the rim prevented the tire from reaching its lowest necessary point. I realized the reason and sandeddown the access bonding. Went back to the tire place, and been using this rim for almost 3 years now. (40k miles). The guys at the tire place were amazed. What prompted me to write this review was the 1 star review, which claimed that jb weld is better and gave no examples. I used jb weld several times. can't think of one instance when it actually bonded something successfully. if you are fixing something that cosmetically needs to look perfect, You will have to be very careful using Rapidfix ,since the liquid and sand bond in seconds. You can sand the access, but it will be seen even if sanded down. It will not be a clear color, but if appearance is not a major issue,Rapidfix will bond almost everything. i used it over 30 times with about 95% success ration.

This stuff works very well, I have used it for years

RapidFix glue
Interesting stuff. So far, it has done its job. I may write a follow up review later. I am using this to glue women's heel caps to the bottom of the high heel shoe. You can't buy wide caps that work on all shoes so you have to buy the small sheets and glue them on. Normally, I use poly urethane glue so we'll see if this works as good or better.

This stuff works!
OK, this is the second time I've purchased RapidFix. The first time was via my local Pep Boys automotive store. But those bottles were less than half the size of these and just a few dollars cheaper. That first batch is still totally usable (they guarantee that the glue will NOT dry up in the bottle) and I have used it to glue and weld many items back together. I even used it to glue the pad back on the bottom of a pair of my wife's favorite shoes when after it fell off. That repair was six months ago and it is still holding.I've used it to weld shut a 6-inch crack in a plastic coolant reservoir on my offroad buggy. I used it to repair several of those little plastic fasteners that you find on interior car panels, and one on the outside that is used to attach the plastic portion of the side mirror. I've even used it to fix cracked and broken handles on our Wusthof knives - and the repair is still working even though we have sent the knives through the dishwasher dozens of times since. Once I forgot to close the veggie drawer in our fridge and swung the fridge door shut, cracking the veggie drawer almost in half! I used RapidFix to weld it back together and it has held since, even with the cold temps in the fridge. I also fixed the plastic handle on our clothes washer after I almost ripped it off when trying to open it while the cycle was still going. Gosh, I'm making myself sound like a bit of a one-man demolition crew...It really is an amazing product. I have recommended it to many people, including my father, and he makes frequent use of it too. Watch the videos to learn how to weld with it. The videos seem too good to be true, but this stuff really does work. Order some today to help support this company. I would like to see this product around for years to come.

Very Impressive!!
Rather than do an impulse buy at the hardware store, I did my research and watched the youtube videos before buying RapidFix. You have to admit, it's a bit of change to throw down for some "Super Glue", but the reviews are spot on! This stuff is GREAT!!I regret how many broken items I've thrown away--that could have been fixed with this glue. It glues AND you can use the two part system to rebuild material! I had a plastic shower unit for my camper that had a broken stabilizing leg, and I had NO HOPE for a fix...but RapidFix glued the piece back to the base. I used the "welding powder" to build up support around the base. It's stronger than new. And because the break was the result of a twist, the pieces did not fit well. No Problem.Next to repair was a plastic bin that holds our recycling. The bottom cracked about a year ago, and I repaired it with epoxy. That lasted about 10 months. This time I used RapidFix with the welding powder. Again, I think that it's stronger than new! This is one of those "Must Have" items to keep at home and to take on trips. Note that it will stay workable in the bottle for up to 12 months! I also liked that I didn't have to cut the top to open the bottle--it's a screw top!

Excellent product of this type, poor value relative to other brands, prefer epoxy in many applications
I'll skip the dissertation about what I've repaired. The product has a learning curve, but as a professional repairman, this is one of the better products I have used especially on hard plastics, and possibly the best of this type.....finer powder dissolves better and gives tighter matrix, and don't underestimate that the dispensers are better quality, more accurate than comparable brands.I still prefer the appropriate epoxy for most repairs although epoxy is more hassle for clean-up and precise mixing necessary, it is much more accurate in placement and requires much less finishing after setting, and epoxy is much smoother and cleaner looking.THE PROBLEM I have with this product is the COST. Comparable products are greater quantity and still 40-50% less cost - a much better value even factoring in the finer powder and dispensers......see the P brand for quantity. If you have access to two-part dental acrylic mix from a dental supply, you can get THE FINEST product of this type - better powder, but possibly more hazardous solvent rather than generic cyanoacrylate based.

This Stuff Worked!
I have a fairly heavy copper decorative mermaid next to the pool that has a copper conch shell that she holds up to her ear (tried to attach a photo, but it wouldn't upload). The shell broke off just due to deterioration of the copper over decades. The shell is pretty heavy (I'd say a couple of pounds) and there wasn't much surface-to-surface contact area left...the rest had deteriorated away. So, I had my doubts that any adhesive could do the job. I cleaned the surfaces with a wire brush and first used just the adhesive to connect the surface-to-surface contact area. I couldn't believe it held the shell in place in seconds, despite its weight. Then I used a bit of paper towel to fill in the wider gaps, poured in some of the powder and then the liquid adhesive. I did this several times and it's like the shell is soldered on. I thought this project was a lost cause and was totally surprised at how well it turned out. I'm actually looking forward to finding some other project to use Rapid-Fix on! I read another review that said this product is just Crazy Glue and baking powder...to that I say Nonsense!

Good stuff
I don't know how the world I' worked before white bread, Toilet paper, 4 wheelers and this stuff. I use it to repair a plastic part on a 1973 mercury seven point five outboard gas carburetor part.
