The books are amazing and the price was great for 20 books. My son loved them and this is a great way to learn history, because the books are appealing to the kids

What a great way to learn about history! They're fun, gruesome, icky but factual! The first thing my daughter does when they get a new history topic is to search out the horrible history book for that period! They're learning without really realising. Definitely worth buying.

Can't wait for my grandson to open these on Christmas Day

Fantastic set of books and wow what a great bargain! I had twenty guests invited to a medieval kids party so popped one book into each party bag... Great compliments received from the guests and all very pleased to get a book and cake rather than plastic toys !! Very happy indeed, would also buy the set again as a gift!

These books are fantastic. My 6 year old daughter loves the TV programmes which prompted her to use her newly acquired reading skills to tackle the books. They are probably a bit grown up for her but we take turns to read and we are both enjoying them and learning a lot. The only gripe was the delivery. The courier the supplier uses is not great and they took a while to arrive.

I used to absolutely love these as a kid 30 years ago. Bought for my nephew who does not like the tv programmes yet, he did like the jokes in the books.
