Perfect so far
I have two 36v golf carts that had 4yr old batteries that all needed replacing. I purchased two of these lithium batteries in May and so far they’ve been great. I was a little concerned about how long the 100ah would last but they actually run longer than the lead acid ever did.The price is much better than lead acid and I think it took about 300lbs off of each cart.Very straightforward install and the quality seems good as well. The carts get used nearly every day at a marina and I’ve never dropped below 40% or noticed any difference in power. Both carts seem a little faster and easier to maneuver which is probably due to the big weight difference. The charge rate is also much better than the old batteries (about 3 to 3 1/2hrs from 50%)I just mounted the chargers beside the battery under the seat and run an extension cord to them, which is much nicer than dragging the old heavy buzz box around. The display is also very informative and shuts down automatically after about 5 minutes if the cart is not being used.Time will tell how long these last but so far I’m very satisfied with these and will never go back to lead acid.

Game Changer for Vanlife
I couldn’t be happier with the NewtiPower 12V 600Ah LiFePO4 battery! It integrated seamlessly into my van build and has completely exceeded my expectations. With its compact size and lightweight design, installation was a breeze, and it fit perfectly into my setup. What really impressed me is its performance—this battery gives me 5-7 days of reliable off-grid power without even factoring in solar or alternator charging. The capacity is truly as advertised, and the built-in BMS ensures peace of mind with its intelligent protection features. It’s clear that NewtiPower put a lot of thought into creating a product that balances efficiency, reliability, and ease of use.Highly recommend to anyone looking for a high-quality lithium battery solution! Will update with installation video and wiring diagram.

This battery, so far, has met my expectations!
This review is for the Newtipower 36v 100Ah golf cart battery.Since owning my 36 volt golf cart I have been through two sets of lead acid batteries. I felt now was the time to switch to a lithium battery. I tried to contact Newtipower about their higher 133, 166 and 300 Amp-hour capacity, 36 volt batteries golf cart batteries. However, they have no customer support phone number. As a result of only brief email communications, I was left with trying the 36v 100Ah lithium battery for now. This battery came with a 15% stand-by charge so it took 5-1/2 hours to charge up to 100% SOC. The battery charger that comes with the new battery works very well. It cycles off automatically when the battery is fully charged. The touch screen monitor control panel is also very helpful with displaying many aspects of the real time status of the battery. As a result of installing this Newtipower Lithium battery, the golf cart now runs very well when fully charged. It appears that this 36v 100Ah lithium battery has met my expectations of improved capacity over the equivalent lead acid deep cycle batteries. The six batteries I removed collectively weighed 390 lbs. This lithium battery weighs only 58 lbs. So being 332 lbs less of static weight, this golf cart is much more responsive when accelerating and stopping. The following are areas where Newtipower where can improve.1-The user manual is not technically detailed. It is more a marketing sales brochure of all the battery products they sell.2-There is a link to download the Bluetooth battery app for your iPhone. However, there are NO instructions or guidance for using the iPhone app.3-I recommend that there be a much better troubleshooting document specific to this battery. Troubleshooting tips should not be vague and generic to ALL lithium batteries.4-I would like to see details about best practices for proper lithium battery operations, charging and maintaining this lithium battery.5-There needs to be instructions for using and configuring the display screens.6-Newtipower needs a better customer/product support page.Otherwise, I am happy with this battery. I will post a follow up review in about six months.

Excellent value for a solid product
So far so good, I’ve been out several times with this battery running my 36v trolling motor. It hold up very well and barely diminishes under the strain of heavy tidal current. The display that comes with it is easy to read. I use the Bluetooth app to easily check charge levels as well. Highly recommended.

DO NOT BUY. Abnormal discharge and defective (no) recharging. Updated (twice)
This battery was not fully charged when I received it. I charged it with a brand new LiTime 40 amp charger, which meets the battery’s performance specs and charging requirements in every way. (You have to request these specs from Newtipower - they are not included on the Amazon webpage.) I installed the battery and noted that it discharged by 30% within ONLY 20 minutes. This made no sense given the power (amp) draw was only 2.5 amps. A 30% discharge at 2.5 amps should have taken 36 HOURS, not 20 minutes. I recharged the battery again using a 200 watt Renogy solar panel with no problems. The battery then discharged abnormally yet again. When I attempted a recharge again with the solar panel the battery would NOT recharge at all (at ambient temperature in the 60F range). I contacted the seller to request a warranty refund. They refused and instead blamed me for the malfunctions. Bottom line: this battery is 100% non-functional and the seller will NOT honor their warranty. Also: no free returns so if you do return it YOU will have to pay big bucks for shipping 60 pounds back to the seller! Have filed an Amazon A-Z guarantee claim and hoping to get my money back. UPDATE: Amazon refused the A-Z Guarantee claim. The company messaged me to say they are sending another battery - no refund. Now plan on camping/travelling with an old AGM battery as backup. I just can't trust this product. UPDATE #2: Company promised a full refund over a week ago which has not been received. Interesting. The 300 amp hour battery I bought is no longer offered by the company on Amazon…
