I give 5 stars because it serves my purpose. I purchased this to help my dog not bark so loudly, and to just have some support with him being aggressive/& wanting to bite. I like how you can adjust the size of the muzzle that goes around dogs snout/muzzle.. the velcro works. My dog is very active/ energetic, so he is able to remove it when he actively trys to remove it. Be pulls it have literally with his paws&arms. However he will keep it on with supervision, I use the muzzle when we are out doing things or around alot of people. The muzzle seems to help him be less yappy/barking at people. I’m able to take him into stores now because be would bark and bark. So it works for me, it might not work for you. Definitely works for a dog with a short snout. I have a maltese chihuahua yorkshire terrier mix. 1y, about 11lbs-13lbs, he is size s/m , normally small can be too small and medium too big. I purchased a size extra Small muzzle. If I can come back and upload pics I will. As I havent took none.

This fits our 7 month old male pomeranian perfectly. Got a size XS and it works well on his snout. He is 7lbs and has a snout like a fox. We had to look into muzzles for when we go to my daughter's sporting events. Our male pomeranian is good to other dogs and he is great with our family. However, he has behavioral issues with strangers. He barks and tries to bite anyone that approaches him. This muzzle will give us peace of mind at any public setting where we aren't just going for a walk. We have a shock collar too but it does not help with attempted biting. He is very adorable and a child magnet and the kids don't understand that he can be aggressive. The muzzle will help with having to explain to children that his behavior doesn't match his cuteness. Hoping we only need to use this for a short time. The product is well made and easily adjustable. Dog can still drink and breathe and see fine. 5 stars!

Good fit for yorkie

This worked really well for trimming my pomchi’s nails and paw pad hairs. She tried to use her paws to shove it off but was unable to do so. It kept her mouth shut enough to keep from biting me but not so tight that it would hurt her. There is an adjustable strap on the back that you can use to comfortably hold the muzzle in place but firm enough that they don’t wriggle out. I was able to order the correct size for the muzzle by using a flexible tape measure and measuring the circumference of her snout before picking the size closest to her snout. Now I don’t have to worry about corn bites in the future when doing her nail and paw trims.

I have a 14lb cav and it does fit so I’d say the size chart is accurate. However she would not keep it on long enough for me to evaluate any further and I’m not sure there is anyway to make it stay on her without making it uncomfortable for her. We got this to try to keep her from trying to eat frogs and lizards but this was not the route to go with her, she’s just not a muzzle girlie. Overall, it’s soft, breathable and well built and if you think a muzzle will work for your dog then this might be a good one!

This little muzzle is perfect for my 8 lb Maltipoo. She gets a little attitude sometimes when it comes to grooming and it’s very easy to slip this on her and she calms right down. Easy to put on and take off. Adjustability makes it fit well.

I never wanted to use a muzzle, I thought it was cruel. My yorkie bites her groomer and vet. It's awful. THe vet put a muzzle on at our last fit and I was shocked to find it calmed my girl. She dealt with it wonderfully, so i bought this one. Once i figured out which side was up... it fit super nice and is soft. I love the mesh. This fits my 4lb and my 8lb yorkies.
