These adapters work very nicely with both our iPhones (13 mini and SE 2nd Gen 2020), you just need to unlock the phone first to enable the accessory then audio switches automatically from the internal speaker to the connected headphones. If your headphones have a 4-pole jack then the mic and controls work too, I was able to play/pause and take calls with the control button on my Sony in-ear headphones. The jack fits quite tightly and you need to press quite hard to insert it fully, but this means the connection is secure even if you slightly pull on it which is good.

Works well as an auxiliary adaptor and a lightning to USB-A charger but when both are plugged in there’s this uncomfortable noise in the background which completely ruins the audio. I really wanted this to work but I’m not sure a long lasting product like this is possible as there’s not many alternatives

There really isn't much to say about a dongle, it either works or not. This one works, and does a great job. The cable is flexible but durable, as it's made out of nylon and aluminium.I think the price is reasonable for the product, and it's so far proving to be a reliable bit of kit, so I'd recommend!
