If you had to buy one G-Shock, this is the one to buy. I don't even know where to begin..First of all, it's size. Now this might be a problem if you're used to the traditional G-Shock pushing 48-50mm. This one is about 42mm. Drastically smaller. Which is why this is perfect for smaller wrists! The strap is extremely soft, flexible, and forms around the wrist well. Any pictures of this watch make it seem huge but it's rather small.It's looks. Wow. Very eyecatching. People will definitely notice this. And honestly I find myself staring at it when I'm just checking the time. Still has the rugged looks you expect from a G-Shock but in a flashier case.This being my first G-Shock I don't have anything to compare with the buttons. I will say they are very easy to press. These buttons are definitely larger than their standard models.The screen will be hit or miss with a lot of people. I love how much more subtle it looks. It's not as readable as the standard display. But if you absolutely want a negative display, this is the most legible one. You can look up some YouTube comparisons with older models and this one is brighter, has more contrast, and higher definition. I've never had a problem with it, in both bright or dim environments. There is an auto light feature that turns on the light whenever you raise your wrist to read it. I use that at night and turn it off in the morning. QoL the light fades on and fades off very nicely, such a nice touch.I don't really see myself using the Bluetooth. You can use it to "find my phone," quickly set the time, add reminders, and alarms. It's useful but the app is a tad cumbersome on Android at least. I've heard better results on iOS. Most of the watch features can be done without a connection. The watch will only connect to your phone when you tell it to so you don't have to worry about constantly using Bluetooth. It's the most minimal "smart watch."Addressing other reviews. The watch came new. It was still in all the usual plastic covering the watch, clasp, and back. It also came with the International Warranty card. If your watch doesn't look like this then send it back.I really don't know what else to say other than buy it. It's a beautiful classic.

Perfect! Everyday wearability, quality, legible, lite , perfect fit for large wrists…. 👍For the ones who say this is a heavy watch, Um, join a gym, lift weights and put down the soy latte.

I’ve owned an original DW5600 from 1984 since new along with a few other Casios. This is my first major purchase at around $400 shipped with tax from Japan.This is a Japanese domestic watch and I love it. I bought it from Japan Treasure Factory which is owned by someone named Satori Toyota. It’s a family business of only 3 employees. I received my watch a week early all the way from Chiba, Japan!! Their communication was great. It was shipped via DHL which in my opinion is the best international shipper.I’ll definitely buy from these folks again.Now as for the watch it’s so freaking fly and high in bling. The photos look meh but on the wrist it shines bright and looks amaaaaaaaazing.It has Bluetooth connectivity so you can program it from your phone AND it has nuclear clock syncing every night so it truly is “set and forget”. It arrived with the time already set.It’s also solar powered so the battery changes will be extremely infrequent.I love this watch. I hope u do too.

The watch is beautiful! It has a great heft to it and you can feel the immediate increase in quality over a standard G-Shock square. The negative display is eons more legible than older models. Contrast is great and the watch holds all of the nostalgic design elements of the 80's.UJC Mart Japan delivered the watch with all paperwork, etc. in pristine condition.Now it's time to go get this thing all nice and scuffed up!

I had this watch for over a month now [and have not gotten any compliments wearing it]. It is stylish, and I reccomend reading the manual before use to understand all its features.

This watch is beautiful right of the box with its high polish stainless steel paired with the classic G-Shock square design. I ditched smartwatches for this due to the fact it also has solar power charging, so I don’t have to worry about taking it off to recharge it like smartwatches. Highly recommend this watch if you want durability and longevity along with it many features G-Shock provided with this time piece.

Great product, exactly as described online. Does exactly what it is meant to.It’s smaller than every other G-Shock I have owned, but as stated by others, this makes it more of a subtle statement with people not actually realising it’s a G-Shock model initially.It’s at home as much in the boardroom with its toned down style as it is on the beach with its world renowned G-Shock capabilities.The Bluetooth connectivity works a treat and lets you set the watch up very quickly without having to play with the individual A, B, C & D buttons on pretty much all other G-Shock watches.As this is the Japanese export version you only receive the Japanese instructions, but as usual with Casio, instructions are available to view and download from their website in a multitude of languages.Fast, secure, shipping.Would recommend seller without a doubt.
