Q: do you need to soak them first

I dont soak them my Angelfish and Corys like them the way they are

It hasn't made my water cloudy.The fish tend to go mad for it and eat most of it straight away.I also have a good filter in the pond.

Q: Is this ok for African dwarf frogs?

I wouldn't know.I have English Frogs in my pond and I feed them specific food for Frogs.
