Consider Sizing-up, lightweight
I had this lightweight coat in the 2XXL size and usually wear a UK size 18 in coats. I didn't check the size chart and although this is listed as a 22-24, realistically it's more like an 18 or tight 20, especially if you want to appear to have some shaping around the elasticated waist. This is a very lightweight showerproof coat - it will help in short showers but not for hiking in the rain. It can be folded very small while dry and doesn't take up much space.I really liked the elasticated cuffs - helps to keep the arms in the right place. The overall finish was well-made with neat stitching and no loose cotton. The zip seems strong and sturdy too.The hood is very large and there's no way to tighten it. I didn't actually mind it too much, although with wind, it would be quite impractical.Surprisingly warm, while walking it did make me feel a bit sweaty after a while.

A very lightweight jacket
This jacket was good as it is lightweight and can be packed very small into a handbag. I had an XL as a size 16 and it fitted well. The problem with the jacket is that the hood doesn’t have any way of tightening around your head. This means when it rained I had to hold it on my head which was not comfortable, If windy there’s is no way for the hood to stay up so on that basis it is not a good for keeping you dry in the rain or protecting you from the wind.

Just love this
Really lovely waterproof jacket, small and easy to store away in handbag, lightweight, good quality, and keeps you dry in the rain, only problem the hood is quiet big, and kept blowing off and the opening for hood is quite big. Well worth money

Good backup raincoat
This lightweight waterproof jacket is perfect for wearing on top of a thick coat if you are caught in a downpour. It's better than a plastic poncho but more for occasional use than day-to-day, as I doubt it would be waterproof for prolonged periods. The description says it's packable, and it does roll up into a small bundle, however it's not quite a pac-a-mac type of thing, where it has a pocket to stuff it in. You will need some kind of small bag to store it if you want to take it with you as a spare layer.I think this is a very good backup jacket to wear on top of a thick coat but I would not pay the current retail price advertised on Amazon.

Huge non-adjustable hood
This is a review of “SotRong Womens Lightweight Thin Packable Hooded Waterproof Jacket Foldable Pack Away Rain Coat Rainproof Zip-Up Windbreaker for All Seasons”, currently priced £19.99.The 2XL seems true to size in the body and arms, and it is a good length to cover my bottom. However, the hood is HUGE and doesn’t have a drawstring or any other way of adjusting it. I do not have an especially small head, but I cannot see out from under it, and the slightest breeze blows it down. The whole point of a raincoat, especially a pack away one, is to be able to wear it to keep the rain off, so it is pointless if you can’t use the hood.

Well made, small on size
This SotRong light weight waterproof jacket is ok as a back up. It does roll up small but no bag/pocket to put it in. It is light weight, appears well made but I think you have to read the sizes rather than assume a 2XL is going to be big cos it wasn't. Overall, it is ok as a casual jacket, priced at £19.99 at the time of this review - bit expensive for what it is

Light and small to carry round
This is a light raincoat - when it arrived, it was in such a small package I didn't think it would be useable but I was wrong. I chose the XL size so it can go over my normal outdoor clothes if it starts raining. The fit is perfect, it's well made and it is actually waterproof...A couple of snagging issues - the pockets feel really far back - they're on the side seam but they don't feel comfortable to walk with your hands in them. Also the hood - it is waterproof but there's no drawstring so it can blow down easily - I did find myself holding the hood in place. It's a great coat though - I could easily fit in in my going-out bag as it takes up such little room and it was a godsend when the heavens opened on the way home the other day - it kept me perfectly dry...
