i have a Growell system. it fits my pod holes

This sponge/basket/nutrient kit absolutely works perfect in my growell hydroponic system. It fits perfectly in my kitchen counter setup and so far my lettuce are thriving. The sponges expand to fill up the baskets without sticking out of the top and because of this when the pump activates it ensures the sponges are soaked with nutrient solution which keeps them from drying out which is what we want. The nutrients seem to be working fine and I have seen no issue with production of plants while using them.The ONLY thing I would suggest to the growell company and any other countertop hydroponic system setup companies is the following:Consider making your baskets out of black plastic instead of clear. Clear allows light through into the water reservoir and something I'm seeing more often lately with most of these systems is brown algae growth due to light being able to reach the water tank. I've staved this off myself by taping over and clear plastic parts using black electrical tape which has completely resolved the algae issue. by changing the color of your plastic it would make it so much better at preventing this problem.

These pods do not work nearly as well as the batch that came with the Hydro planter.The originals were great and seeds germinated quickly. This last batch did not germinate at all. I did everything exactly the same so I know it is the quality of these pods. Disappointed. I suppose I will learn to create my own pods
