Worth the money
Expensive compared to many, but comfortable and has storage for extra blades. Worth the extra $

A nice improvement on a well-remembered tool.
I remember Exacto knives from when I was a young typesetter and we had to do pasteup. This one is fancier, with a nice ergonomic rubber grip and good cap to keep me safe, but otherwise seems the same. No pasteup boards nowadays but this comes in handy, with such a thin sharp blade for lots of things, most notably getting those pesky plastic wrappers off dropper bottles and other bottles, labels that seal boxes, and other packaging. (Though I use a box cutter for bigger jobs.) I don't use it a lot — still on my first blade — but very glad to have it in the house. I'd welcome other more visible colors, as it gets a bit obscured on my desk.

Easy on the hands, cool blade holder on back end.
I got this rubber-covered blade holder because the corrugated segment of my old one was really irritating my fingers (metal on skin repeatedly used in same position... no bueno). I like the size of this one, and the blade compartment in the end, but sometimes the rubber part near the blade slides down, and needs to be pushed back in place. I will try some super glue to fix it. It's not a big deal, but it is something to be aware of. I'm using this to make miniatures, and I've been making mini books... LOTS of repetetive movements, so I need something comfortable. This one works!

The best!
Exactos are the best of this type of knife. This one is great. It has a cushioned hand area with texture at the grip point so you can keep a good handle on it. It comes with one blade in it and 3 extra blades which are stored in the back under a screw on cap. It's great to have these right on hand if your blade gets dull in the middle of a project. Also nice is the protective cap to cover the blade currently in use. These are perfect for cutting any kind of paper, photos, illustration board and a host of other things. If you want the best, buy exacto.

Perfect for package opening and finer cutting.
Mostly use this as a package opener and it's perfect. Used for about a month and still super sharp. Grip is way more comfortable than your standard X-acto blade. Also works quite well for scraping solder mask off or removing strongly adhered stickers. Great little tool to have around.

Nice Idea but does not hold Blades Securly
The knife itself is comfortable to hold and use but that is where the good news ends. The slot that holds the blade will not squeeze down tight enough to hold the blade securely and this is with the blades they supplied with the knife. I have actually had the blade fall out if I do not keep a finger on it. It takes some practice just to tighten the blade holder as the rubber sleeve slips over the metal barrel underneath. I found it best to hold the blade at the base when tightening so that the metal part is actually turned. Overall, a nice idea from a trusted brand but poorly executed.

Comfortable to use
At first I thought it might be too chunky for my small hands, but I very quickly got used to it and I like it better than the cheap slender kind now. The blade holding function is handy when taking it places and I don't find the extra top end weight fatiguing at all. Hard to find and fast shipping wasn't an option but it was worth the wait as it was not available in stores near me.The ridge at the top that prevents rolling is SUPER helpful, my upstairs is so crooked I need about 10 wobble wedges just 15 inches out from the wall and as hard as I try my working surfaces aren't perfectly level. As someone who dropped a box cutter into my foot as a teenager, I appreciate this thing won't be rolling off anytime soon.
