I’ve been using the Geryon vacuum sealer for a few months now and it’s honestly been a solid addition to my kitchen. I mostly use it to vacuum seal cooked chicken, rice, and bulk meats before freezing—and it gets the job done with minimal hassle.It’s super easy to use. Just place the bag, close the lid, hit a button, and it does the rest. There are separate settings for dry or moist foods, and it even comes with a starter pack of bags and a roll, which was really convenient. It’s also lightweight and doesn’t take up much counter space, which is a plus.The suction power isn’t crazy strong like some commercial models, but for the price, it works well. Sometimes I have to run it twice or double seal thicker items, but that’s expected for something in this price range. I haven’t had any bags leak in the freezer so far, even after a few weeks.Overall, if you’re looking for an affordable vacuum sealer to help with meal prep or freezing food without breaking the bank, this is a great choice. Not perfect, but absolutely worth the price.

I bought this vacuum sealer originally back in May, it's April as I write thiz, and it has worked great! Unfortunately, the sealer started acting wonky. Thankfully, the vacuum sealer comes with a warranty so I reached out to the company. They got me a replacement in less than a week at my door. Not only is it a replacement but it's a newer model than what I had before and it works exactly like it's supposed to.Their customer service is top notch, the product is excellent, and this was such a seamless process. Especially when you consider the price point of the sealer! This vacuum sealer does exactly what it's supposed to. Yes, it's a little loud, but that's to be expected. It's got strong suction and the sealer is great! I also appreciate all the extra instructions that came the new box because I think it will help avoid any future issues like the one I had before.Long story short, it's a great product at a great price and the company that sells it has a great customer service team who are happy to help their customers. If you're in the market for a vacuum sealer, this is the one that you should get. Look no further. It even came with some bonus bags!

Overall, five stars — it’s not perfect but it’s real good and does the job — especially for the price!!!Pros: Great price ! First vacuum sealer I’ve ever had. Easy and intuitive to use, doesn’t require proprietary special bags (so far just about any vacuum sealer bags I’ve bought have worked), lightweight and small (see pic for comparison to a box of aluminum foil). I just stash it on a shelf and grab it when I need it — love that it is not taking up valuable real estate on the kitchen counter. I’ve used it a lot and it’s fussy and uncomplicated— at least the bag sealer part. Has an accessory port for canisters, etc and comes with tubing, and a plastic connector for the port (and a spare). I found a $12 generic mason jar sealing kit on Amazon and now I can use that port to vacuum seal mason jars — great for dry storage and meal prep (especially salads in the fridge — getting that air out makes the vegetables last longer, and I can make 4 or 5 at a time and then just grab a jar and go).The cons: the accessory port is kind of funky and fussy to connect to. Be gentle - the very first time I did it, the plastic connector broke off inside the vacuum sealer. And of course that happened just outside the Amazon return window. I had to disassemble the sealer to extract the broken piece, which was no small feat. And now I am down to one connector — and as far as I can see, there is nowhere to buy a replacement. Not sold on the Geryon website that I can find; I contacted them and am waiting to hear from them about whether I can buy a spare. I also haven’t found a universal or generic version online either; my mason jar kit came with three different types of connectors (meant for different kinds of sealers) and was described in at least one review as being more or less "universal" because of this -- but none of their connectors actually fit this Geryon sealer. Since removing the broken piece, the accessory port does again work now with the one connector piece I have left and I’m just doing my best to be very gentle and also not to lose that connector, since I don't have a backup.Overall tho -- still recommend -- love this sealer tho and I use it often. I think it's a great bargain and nice to have to prepare for the apocalypse or whatever.

This is by far one of the best vacuum sealers I’ve used. I’ve gone through several models over the years, but this is the only one that has lasted over a year while still performing flawlessly. It seals food perfectly, and items I vacuum-sealed over a year ago still look and taste fresh — a true testament to its effectiveness.Recently, I encountered an issue where the unit stopped sealing properly. Although the warranty had expired, I reached out to customer service, and to my surprise, they were incredibly kind and responsive. They offered to send a replacement unit despite the warranty being over, which really impressed me.Overall, this is a high-quality product backed by a company that genuinely cares about its customers. I absolutely recommend it.
