Game-Changer for the Job Site!The DEWALT 20V MAX XR POWERPACK 8.0Ah battery is hands-down the best battery I’ve ever used. It charged up fast and delivered nothing but consistent, powerful performance all day long. I ran it hard for a full 8-hour shift and it never slowed down. This thing holds a charge like a champ. Built tough too — dropped it more than once on concrete and it kept going like nothing happened. No overheating, no loss in power, just pure performance. Honestly, I don’t need any other batteries now. This one outperforms every other battery in my toolbox. If you’re serious about getting the job done right, this is the battery you want in your gear.

I'll admit, I only purchased this battery because I caught it on sale for $86. However, it is fantastic. It is now my go-to battery when I use a high power tool, like my impact or grinder. I think it has more powerful than my 9.0 20 volt/60 volt. It is significantly heavier than my 5.0 power stack batteries however--I keep using those for my cordless drill and impact driver. But, if I need another battery this is absolutely the one I'm going to purchase!This battery, without a doubt, is one of the best in the DeWalt stable. It and the 5.0/3.5 power stack batteries are phenomenal.

So far so good keeps a charge, I don’t use it but for project around the house. But in my great, little bit of n the bigger side of a 18 bolt, but has the power to strip screws if not careful.

Absolutely the best dewalt battery to date. I've purchased five of them and they outlast my 9amp batterires, and they make the 5 amp seem like they have no power. I can go at least a day cutting, shooting, drilling, and impacting without out needing to recharge. I'm a builder and I take great care of my tools, but I use them all the time, all day long. I'm actually in the process of only keeping the 8amp batteries for all my tools, since this is so powerful and long lasting. When you own hundreds of Dewalt tools, you know when you've hit the jackpot with the best battery ever!

Great price for a great battery. Was able to pick it up during a sale for around a hundred https://amzn.to/40GWHTU. Finally have a battery that lasts long enough to leaf blow my entire property. The weight is not too bad. Def helps that it's a power pack/power stack design. Highly recommend picking up the faster 6 AMP https://amzn.to/42uWg0x charger if you don't have one already. Will take awhile to charge it back up without it.

I come from a lower middle class upbringing, and as such, buy generic "everything." I have no skin in this game and do not represent Dewalt in any way, shape, or form, but these Dewalt batteries and chargers are an exception to my "buy generic" rule. I have bought the generics, because they are so much cheaper, but all of them I have tried (and ive tried several) are inferior products which dont last. Suck it up and purchase genuine Dewalt batteries and chargers ... they are simply superior. I got this battery yesterday, put it in my leaf blower, and it ran for over a half hour and was not out of juice. Wait til this guy goes on sale (I snatched mine for $120) and bite the bullet. You will be so glad you did, and in the end, you will save money.

This battery meets all my requirements, but it is very large and heavy. I will use the smaller size most of the time ( perfect for old guy with arthritis , carpal tunnel etc. ) For construction and younger folks, I would highly recommend this battery. I still prefer the Milwaukee batteries with the ability to choose the power level , and know how much “ voltage” is left.

I was expecting this to be closer to the 4Ah pack size, but it's not much smaller than the 6Ah. Also this is over kill for what I'm currently using this for, a drill. These are clearly made for their yard tools, or I think they have 20v (x2) table saws and miter saws, that these are definitely PERFECT for. As for the 50% increase in power, that's a bit of a lie. What it really is, is that it gives you FULL POWER from the start, something about those 18650 based batteries needs a little warm up before you can get the full power out of your tools, like 4Ah or more, the 2Ah is not enough, I think it's because the current requirement is high on most DeWalt tools and their RPM ratings are rated for 4Ah or more packs. Where as, even if you got the 2Ah PowerStack, you're getting that whole current power up front. I think it's because they can include a bigger buck converter... I saw a whole Youtube video explaining it. So, this is a great battery and also was literally 60 USD cheaper than Lowe's wanted. I think the two pack on here is literally nearly half the price of Lowe's two pack. They seem legit, been running my drill non-stop, for over 4hrs and haven't lost a pip in the meter, and it's an impact driver.Only negative, as I said, thought this would be smaller, it's still a sizeable battery.
