Heavy Duty Cot, Easy Up, Easy Down, Compact When Stowed
CORE offers this roomy, heavy duty, easy up cot with a generous 300 lb. weight capacity. Open the box, take the cot out of it's carry bag, unfold it, spread each end and push down. You just set up a cot. It's so simple they do not include a manual.Much easier than our family's lightweight aluminum folding cot that seems to take 15 minutes to put up and take down. This cot is a little larger than some, I measured it at 29.5" wide X 80.5 long, stands 16" high. It includes a storage hammock about 6" below, leaving another 10" below the hammock for additional floor storage. It weighs about 20 lb.s and measures 7"X7"X40" when stowed.Comes with a 12"X12" stretched canvas side table with cup holder that can attach firmly to either side of the cot.The strong canvas stretches tight for firm support, you might wish to add a mattress. I'd consider a memory foam self-inflating mattress for the added insulation, canvas cots can get cold. Also bring a couple of heavy duty straps to keep the mattress in place on top of the cot. Common cot complaints are comfort, cold, and sliding off the cot.Lacking an instruction manual, I turned to my brilliant wife to figure out how to fold the cot back up. The secret is there is a little YELLOW PLASTIC LOCK TAB on each cross-bar at the ends, PUSH IT IN to disengage, allowing you to fold the cot up compactly.Thankfully CORE provides a stow/carry bag that is actually big enough to fit the folded cot back in, that's nice.

The best cot I've ever seen.
I had what I thought was the heaviest, strongest camping cot possible. We had to evacuate a hurricane and we moved into one empty room at our daughter's home. If I'd had overhead beams or hooks I would have been better off in a sailor's 17th century hammock. It was impossible to stretch out because I kept compressing into the central depression. Turn on my side or stomach was out of the question because an injured back doesn't bend that way. Maybe worst, I felt I needed a rope to even get up to the frame edge to get up. Awkward! I told my daughter to keep it in the closet for visitors. NOW I've found a real cot! This is easy to set up, not too heavy with the carry strap on the bag and really is good enough to sleep on! I'm not thrilled with the table but that's my fault for being an idiot and forgetting anything sticking out is there and hitting it with a leg. This is good support and I can actually rest my aching back on it. That's the main thing, isn't it?

Really Solid Cot
This is a really solid cot. When it says, "Heavy Duty" it means it. So, just know that you're not hiking anywhere with this thing. It is pretty much for car camping and glamping only. So use it for the best use case. It's extra solid and rather easy to setup in spite of how heavy it is. It has locks on the expanding legs that click when you get them fully set. The surface is firm and pretty comfortable. You can add a sleep pad if desired. My only complaint is one I have on a lot of camping devices. They provide a nice piece of gear, but once you take it out of the bag, you'll have a bit of a challenge to get it back in. This was not the worst, as I was able to get this back in the bag, but found it a bit annoying. The bag is fairly sturdy though and looks good and does the job. Overall, not a bad camping cot for car camping if you want to sleep off the ground. However, although heavy duty, I would have liked it to be lighter and easier to pack away.

Easy to unfold, clicks into place.
This cot came in a reasonably compact carry bag. I opened the bag, removed the cot and intuitively unfolded it and found it clicks into place. Its big, I'm 75" and have room for my pillow when stretched out. Its also nice and wide. There was a little sag in the middle from my 200lbs, but that happens with any cot. A sleeping pad or air mattress alleviates that "sink to the middle" feeling. You can also sit on this cot quite comfortably without much sag.I really like that the feet do not take up a lot of room and this allows for stuff to be shoved underneath the cot, and the gear loft is great to store items you don't want losing among all the stuff in your tent (gloves etc).I gave 5 stars because I could not think of anything negative about this cot.

Comfortable, compact, easy to use.
We are avid campers during the summer months. We know the Core brand and love our other Core products, so when it came time to shop for a good cot for our son, who is 6' tall, we checked out the competition and then checked out what Core had to offer. Ultimately, Core was our pick.We chose this Core camping cot because of how well it folds up and how portable it then is. We also like the fact that the under-cot storage shelf is not something you constantly have to take off and put back on. No, it arrived preinstalled and that's just how we like it. The little side table really cemented our decision to purchase this. The Mrs. insists on having some water bedside, even when at camp, and so when we saw this feature we thought it was simply brilliant. We asked our son, who often sleeps on the couch in our family room, what feels more comfortable, the couch or this new Core cot, and he immediately replied that the Cot is way better. There ya go, an unsolicited testimonial. We give this cot an A+
