I had heard about these terracotta discs & gave this one a shot. I use brown sugar in my tea but the container isn't air tight apparently. This little disc with the bee on it is soooo cute. Followed the directions and put it in there. My brown sugar was pretty solid at that point. Left it 24 hours and the whole container was soft again!!

I am shocked at how well this works! I had a jar of brown sugar that was so hard I thought I was going to have to throw the entire jar away. This was my last effort to see if I could save it. Soaked the disc in water for 20 minutes, put it in the jar, and 2 days later the sugar was as fresh as it was when I bought it. I don't bake often, so I make sure to remove the disc once a week to resoak it and put it back in the jar. It is easy to use, fits perfectly in any container, and feels very study so it will last a long time.
