Brilliant followup
Waited for this second seanson and it didn't disappoint. Faith is such a character - you just have to love her. Brilliant played by Eve Myles. Hope we see more of her. The children also were wonderful. But the ending - oh I cried. And the music, couldn't get some of it out of my head. Hope theres season 3 to come .

Is she for real?
And I am not referring to the main character, but one of the others, whose name I shall not divulge. As a Welsh person I did not find anything difficult about understanding the dialogue, and enjoyed the lilting welsh accents and the scenery in Laugharne. I had enjoyed two other productions - Hinterland and Hidden - and although the music was not written by the same composer, it was just as effective. A cd of it would be of interest to me. The story enfolded slowly, with a gradual build up of confusion and tension, and the three children were superb. I was very impressed about the lead character having learnt welsh for the welsh version, and I would watch this in welsh as well. The extras were well worth watching, too., and with some surprises. I have since found out that there are two more series, and when they become a bit cheaper I shall enjoy those as well. Overall an excellent production. Da iawn, Pawb.

Eve Myles does it so good.
Eve Myles acting is brilliant ! A hard role to play, that could have been pathettic, but she does it so good. I was about to give up after the first episode but stayed on and I'm really glad I did that. HIGHLY RECOMENDED !

O, I SEE! THE TITLE IS A DOUBLE ENTENDRE! SORT OF!
Viewed as an instructional video on achieving various facial expressions spanning the spectrum of human emotion while sober and while drunk "Keeping Faith" is surely a landmark accomplishment to be set beside the hilarious and moving illustrations of Norman Rockwell. May I stretch even further and include select "Get Well Soon" greeting cards by Hallmark? Yes, why not! But viewed as something intended to be fairly considered by a general audience, "Keeping Faith" is more akin to the contents of a bonus reel of unused takes from an assortment of daytime dramas, the aforementioned expressions found only in a catalog of mugshots (see also Godley & Creme).

Eve Myles your a star
I found this on BBC iPlayer ages ago before the series came onto TV. I was hooked from start to finish.Eve does adjust very well to her roles. She was similar in the TV series Frankie where she played a nurse. She always comes across as very mischievous and comical. Her role as a mother is portrayed in a loving way. Please can we have a soundtrack on CD to include ALL the music in this series.
