Beautiful bright pink
Used this Manic Panic Hot Hot Pink hair dye on my daughter (along with Manic Panic Electric Amethyst and Arctic Fox Purple AF). We love the results! It’s a beautiful, vibrant bright pink that changes the shade of pink with the different tones in my daughter’s hair. I placed a plastic shower cap over her freshly dyed hair & had her leave the dye in pretty much all day (applied around 10am) before rinsing it out (9 hours later) in cold water until it ran clear. I did shampoo and condition her hair also in cold water, and blow dried on the cool setting. Her hair gets so many compliments!Disclaimer: I did prelighten her hair to a pale yellow before applying the color.

Hottest pink but she high maintenance
Ok so it's manic panic and I've been using it since the 90s but this shade is the best pink you can get but it doesn't have a long lifespan so bear that in mind. It's gorgeous for the first week and will get you lots of compliments. The price here is very good vs Sally's so defs get it here! But be prepared to have to touch it up every few weeks.

Greattt
Loved the color and it lasted for a while. I thought the tub was a bit bigger tho but it still has a lot of product. My ends are a different color only because beforehand I bleached it and the bottom didn’t completely bleach.

tea time
okay it’s only been one day since I’ve dyed my hair but I’ll update this review when I’ve had it in for a while to let you know how it lasts over time.first things first, I have dirty blonde hair that has recently become lighter due to being out in the sun a lot. I also have naturally blonde highlights in my hair. my hair is naturally thinner and my hair is up to the top of my chest in length. the dye took nicely to my hair and I didn’t do anything special except put the dye in my hair (after I hadn’t washed it for a day). I left it in for a few hours, not really watching the clock (probably three hours tops) and it came out really cute. I only dyed the ends of my hair for an ombré sort of look and I also dyed a few strands of my brothers hair as well. I had pretty much 3/4 left of dye. if you’re dyeing your whole head and you have THICK HAIR I would recommend two of these at least.speaking of my brother’s hair, the dye in their hair turned out more of a maroonish color, as their hair is more of a light brown. I would look up a dye chart for this color so you can see what your hair will potentially look like with this dye. the lighter your hair, the more vibrant of a pink it will be. if you aren’t sure about this dye, do a strand test on your hair (not too much so you can cut it off if necessary). I need to have the dye gone by when school starts up for me again, which is why I didn’t dye my whole head.in terms of staining, I put the dye on my hands without gloves (rookie mistake but I didn’t have any handy). It definitely stained but from last night it’s faded a lot so you can barely see it on my fingers (it’s completely gone from my hands). you can wash them a few times and just try to get the top layer off and it’ll come off throughout your natural hand washing after that. If you do struggle taking it off, try rubbing alcohol and dish soap perhaps. I would recommend washing your hair upside down in the shower first so you can make sure the run off of the dye doesn’t splash all over and that you can make sure it mainly goes in the drain at first. then you can flip your head over. I washed my hair until the water ran clear and I had no staining or smudging on my white pillowcases, my white sheets, or my white comforter (though my hair was completely dry upon going to sleep).all in all, I think it looks pretty for summer especially and I would recommend this dye. I gave it 4/5 stars because (even though it worked well for me, my brothers’ hair wasn’t as vibrant).update:so it’s been a while and the hair dye has faded a lot (though I wash my hair every other day and I try to wash with cold water). I’ve touched it up twice because I want it to last a little longer but that’s something to take into consideration. The pink that it fades to is actually quite pretty but again, consider the longevity when you purchase this.

Great coverage but I had an allergic reaction
It's important that I mention a few things: 1. I always leave in semi-perm color longer than directed, 2. I have pretty long 3b/4a curly hair, 3. I have some visible grays on my crown, 4. My hair is ombre bleached and ranges from dark brown to honey blonde, 5. It was previously colored with Overtone extreme pink, which hadn't fully faded when I applied this color. With that let me say this is the first hair color in my life that gave me an allergic reaction. Even after washing my hair 4 times, I get a burning sensation on my scalp, ears, hairline, neck and anywhere this touched when applying and anywhere, where my hair touches when it's wet after washing. That being said, I know plenty of people and have read plenty of reviews of others, who didn't experience this problem, so I might be a rare case. Be sure not to skip a patch and strand test (which I never do and now I'm miserable). My irritation took a day or so to come up, so wait a day after the patch and strand test.Other cons:The smell is terrible. This isnt huge, it doesn't really linger, but I can smell it again each time I wash my hair. It's expensive. Per container it's very affordable, but it took 3 jars to cover my head so ounce for ounce its more expensive than other options. It left my hair very dry. This was even before I washed it repeatedly because it irritated my skin.It bleeds. All semi-perm fantasy colors do. However I have never used another one that stained my hands, nails and neck when washing it over a week after application.Pros:The color saturation is excellent! From root to tip, including grays, my hair has full color. There is less difference between the tint on the different levels of brown/blonde than any other product I've ever tried. It's lasted longer than I expected. Although it noticeably bleeds with every wash, my hair color isn't very visibly faded. It cleans up well. Every hair color will stain your sink, shower, etc. I had the easiest time cleaning this one, compared to other brands; a quick clean with oxy-clean or comet and my fixtures were white again. It washed out completely from towels without any special treatment. It doesn't transfer after drying. No clothing or pillow case marks, which is a big consideration for me, because with a lot of hair, it touches everything, and I've gotten marks on other clothes before.Because of CV19 and the winter, I haven't worked up a good sweat or been caught in the rain yet, so I dont know if the color will transfer when it's damp. I did shovel snow a few times, and although my clothes got damp and I was wearing a hat, there was no color bleed of my hair.Who would I recommend this to?Someone with short hair, or who wants smaller highlights and can wash their hair in the sink or over the side of the tub, with gloves on.Because of my skin reaction, I won't try it again, but if you can test to be sure you don't have a similar sensitivity, its easy to use, pretty easy to clean up and has great color saturation.
