Great add
Great add to the roc-n-soc drum throne. Excellent back support and built as good as the throne itself. Which is rock solid.

The Best Backrest!!
There are a lot of great drum thrones out there and ROC-N-SOC is one of them but this backrest is as good as it gets! Adjustable in and out and up and down, plus it swivels and large enough to fit the small of your back and some of your upper back also! The best backrest out there! I love mine!!✌️❤️🥁

A fine drum throne can make a HUGE difference.....then add a back rest.......WOW!
I've had a ROC N SOC throne for four years now, I don't remember sitting behind a drum kit before I latched onto one of these; the ROC-N-Soc genuinely increases your comfort and relaxation level behind a drum kit. Hands down it is the most comfortable throne I've ever sat on to play. I had a few other brands prior and these caused a gamut of spine and neural maladies from sore back to numbness in a leg to a simple yet chronic pain in the ass. Everything said and written about the Roc-N-Cos is true, it is the apogee of drum throne design and comfort. So how can you make it better? Add the backrest! Initiaily I noticed a new comfort level being able to lean against it from time to time during long sets. Oddly over the first few weeks I began to notice another more subtle improvement as well. I adjusted the backrest so it was just touching my lower spine. Apparently this made me more centered when I play, I know one of the cliches, "centered" but it is the only way I can describe the change. I am more relaxed in all four limbs, dynamics have gotten better, more nuanced playing and any kind of fatigue is non-existent. If you have a ROC-N-SOC I highly recommend the addition of the back rest, you'll be amazed. Regards DonS

The back rest works well.
The back rest arrived on time and was very securely packaged in it's box. I didn't find any instuctions inside the packaging, but the parts went together with a little thought. The back rest fits the seat well and feels sturdy. It supports my back at about the right height along my spine. It seems pretty sturdy at this time. I hope it will stand up to the test of time. Only time will tell as I go along and I get more playing time.

Appears to be very solid and professional, as is the Roc n Soc Throne.
Anatomy is anatomy, no one is the exact same or, in my case, plays in the exact position that's most comfortable for me. So, the throne and the backrest are the perfect combination for me to play guitar the way I best can, comfortably. I do use a memory foam footrest for my left leg to give the guitar a level surface upon which to sit. Only issue is that the weight and balance point obviously moves when you add weight to the back and up. So, I noticed the saddle is not as stable as it is without the backrest -yes I adjusted the backrest and figured out for me that having both extended to their max out and max up (I'm 5'5" so this sound weird, but....) and I make sure to have one of the legs directly behind me, so I don't flip back to far when I'm pressing into the backrest. Like I said it seems very sold and professional. For my daily amount of home use, it should never, ever wear out.

Comfort
The seat back is adjustable. Fits securely and it's nice to be able to lean back and rest between rhythms.

Very nice product. I mounted it on an Ahead Spinal G standard throne. A few holes drilled and some short bolts/nuts, perfect fit. Very adjustable to get the right position, A+!

This backrest has made long rehersals way more tolerable. Bought one for my Tama First Chair as well as it’s a direct bolt on.
