Construction Toy - 2 in 1 F1 Racing Car Kit - Build Your Own Set For Kids

We bought it a while and it is still a favourite toy for our son.

Bought it for my son as a gift. Good quality and price.

My grandson enjoyed receiving this at Christmas and loved putting it together. He absolutely loved having his own screwdriver!! I don't think it is top quality but would recommend.

Purchased for a 4 year old granddaughter. She opened it Christmas day in the company of her two girl cousins, another 4 year old and a 6 year old. The 3 of them loved this car and were struggling with each other who should fit the next piece and who should have the drill. I didn't stand a chance.Pity the drill needs a small cross-head screwdriver before the batteries can be inserted (why ??) so this stopped the fun for a time while a suitable screwdriver was found, but after that it was all systems go.Something to keep all the bits in, including the spare bolts, would be nice as they can be lost once the original packaging is torn open.

Fave toy for 2 year old boy for about 4 months

This is a nice toy, it has lots of entertainment value but there is one flaw that keeps it from being a great toy.My kids love construction toys and this set having an electric screwdriver looked like it was going to be a winner. It was..... for a while anyway, the novelty of building it and deconstructing it was great and kept them entertained for hours. So what was the problem?The wheels of the car when it was fully built and played with as a car kept falling off! This is a design problem with the toy. Basically the wheel screws tighten up to the wheels during assembly, the direction of the screw thread means that when the wheel turns it grips the screw and turns it too and after a few zooms across the carpet, wheels start falling off.The car pieces are fairly sturdy and thick enough to take a bit of bashing around, they fit together nicely and it is not too difficult for the child to figure out how to do it by themselves. The electric screwdriver is a great addition and really enhances the play factor of the set, it is not too fast and when operated and the screws are tightened to a child's version of finger tight.Would I recommend this toy? Yes but.... only for assembly/disassembly if the child wants to play with it as a car they will get disappointed and frustrated when the wheels fall off.If the designers could change the design of the wheel mounting so that it didn't turn the screws with the wheels then I would have rated this toy much higher.Now with the frustrations of the wheels the toy is consigned to remain in pieces scattered throughout the house and forgotten about.

My 4 year old nephew loves this F1 car. He is constantly building it and taking it apart again by himself once he was shown how to do it. This car gives him hours of entertainment and fun

My nephew absolutely loved it.Great price, great product and brilliant quality considering the price paid for the item.I knew i had a winner when my nephew told me it was his favourite birthday present :)
