Lightweight, easy to use, works really well for magnifying all sorts of writing from food packaging to books, newspapers, crosswords etc - various light options to choose from - would recommend

Good reader for books and newspapers
Excellent for reading newspapers and books. The light is even as is the magnification.

Not a crystal clear lens but what can you expect for something this size.Definitely helpful with myopia.Impressive level of illumination.Good value I think.

Not the ideal lens for me
PRO: Light weight, 3 levels of light easily controllable, large lens, takes 3xAAA batteries (not supplied)CON: Fresnel lens, so needs to be held in exactly the right positionI have a blend of macular degeneration and cataract. I ws looking for a 5x magnifier having found a 3x magnifier (glass lens) useful but not powerful enough. Sadly, this one is not the product I was looking for.

This magnifying glass is brilliant. Perfect for my husband to read texts on phone or reading the paper. Has good lights to choose from and is just what we wanted. Prompt delivery well packaged. Would recommend for anyone who has had cataract ops and still had visual temporary problems…. Waiting for prescription for new glasses.

Distortion significant 🙁
Mum has Macular Degeneration & struggled with the distortion of the 'fresnel' lens (as did I frankly) only the centre is clear, it looks like a large rectangle to view but effectively isn't .. she also struggled with the on/off switch, she found it difficult to see it .. I don't think fresnel lenses r appropriate for AMD .. disappointing, will b returning 🫤
