With this set in hand, and all other techniques like penetrating oil or a torch, I don't think there's any bolt that will defy you. I like how the blow molded case has markings for metric and SAE to save you hassle of conversion or figuring out what size is what (19mm fits 3/4sae).The fitment is good, it has enough bite to pick up a bolt on its own by just pressing it in. The steel looks like a good quality tool steel I own several other sockets and hand tools for comparison. There's nothing major that I see that I would add or change, I have no doubt that this set would get you out of a pickle and is good to have on hand when going into an unknown auto project dealing with older parts.

I have bought several "bolt extractors over the years, and always went the cheap route. None of them are in good enough condition to use after a few uses.These are not cheap, look at the pictures, they are pretty darn clean.The quality is excellent, but the absolute best part about it is I won't have to drive 30 minutes to the home depot to get the right size anymore.I can highly recommend this set.

A good value for the completeness of the set. I haven't used it actually remove a rusted bolt (hence only 4 stars for now) but it's clear to me this set should work and I'm glad I have it in my tools arsenal.

Really handy set to have on hand if you need to remove locking screws. Nicely packaged in a durable storage box that is well organized.

What I like about this the most is that it is a complete kit as you never know what size or where you will need this and it has it all. The kit is just a hard plastic case but it holds everything inside in place very well. The pieces are oiled up so they do not rust but that just takes a few minutes if you want to clean them up. It comes with 1/4 and 3/8 impact adapters along with a punch to remove the bolt from the socket when done. This is a solid 5 out of 5 kit for Price and Quality. God Bless, Richard W.

The big plus for me is that this set will handle more bolts than my other set. If I ever need more than these, it will be a day I'll be talking about for a long time. I'm very happy to have these. As all mechanics know, you spend half your time on one lousy bolt. it happens all the time. I still remember a bolt on my car in Colorado a few decades ago. I got it out without the proper tools, but holy smokes, it was a hassle.Very good case to hold everything. Looks good.

If you're handy or doing any wrenching you're going to want these. Breaking bolts or rounding off heads is inevitable. When that happens, these are what you want to have. This is good set with a variety of pieces that provides good coverage.

I live in Michigan, right in the rust belt. I've seen my fair share of broken bolts and I'm not happy when it happens. Fortunately, I'm finally at a point where I'm not working with a bare-bones toolbox. Now that I've got the basics, I ordered this. Between Kroil and these, I think I'm going to be able to tackle just about any rusted or snapped bolt. This makes me feel a lot better because I'll be working on my kids' cars and the chances of rusted fasteners is very, very hight.
