Mattress is medium, firm. It is for my daughter for when she's back from uni. She loves her new mattress, very good value.

After reading previous reviews of the smell of the mattress I decided to air it earlier before useIt was very well packed and springs out once all plastic has been cut off .It quickly forms its shape and I could not smell anything !I used this a couple of days later and still no smell as others have described.It was sturdy and very comfortable .It was deep enough for me and could not feel any springs .Overall I was extremely pleased with this mattress and I would definitely buy againI chose a double and was a good standard size .

Great mattress at a great price.Bought and used for for 2 months so far, teenage daughter finds it incredibly comfy and it looks and feels well made too.Great budget mattress.

I’ve slept on mine for a week now & this mattress is indeed a perfect medium… not too soft or firm & I love it! it’s an absolute STEAL at that price point too so GET IT.Ps. the other reviews are a little exaggerated, the smell isn’t bad & it doesn’t linger either. It literally just smells like a brand new mattress. Hope that helps!

I'm really pleased with this mattress. Ideal for child or lightweight adult or someone who likes a soft but still supportive mattress. Great value.

I bought two of these for children's bunk beds. Both packaged well and rolled up tight for easy transportation. Opened the first one and all seemed fine, expanded quickly and looked to be good quality. Opened the second one and the smell was horrendous. I am not exaggerating when I say it smelled of rotting meat. I gave the benefit of the doubt and aired it out for three days in a well ventilated room as apparently 'off gassing' is a thing, but as soon as it was in a warm room with windows closed, the smell just got worse. Sour and putrid. Meanwhile the memory foam layer on the other mattress had become flat and wrinkled, so flat in fact, that the springs could be felt thought the top of the mattress. I ordered two more mattresses from a different brand and they are both perfect. These two were bagged up and returned but not until after a 2-week-long saga of failed collection attempts and the mattresses eventually going missing in transit. Honestly, it has been a nightmare. Amazon customer service were fantastic in resolving the issue though, and a full refund arrived in my bank today.

Love it!Came easily and compact, easy to get out the box and air out. I left mine about 8 hours before sleeping on it and it’s fine.I no longer wake up with back ache etc, I sleep way better, it’s super comfy and medium soft which I like. It’s average in terms of how thick it is and I didn’t notice any bad smell?I was skeptical due to mixed reviews, and maybe it’s just a great mattress because my old one was SO bad? Who knows but I love it and I would highly recommend.I’m waiting for something to go wrong because of the price but I’m yet to see anything?Thank you :)
