Wow! My first bike computer for my first touring bike (I'm ready for both at the age of 73). After much net research chose the Coros Dura because of the 60 hour+ battery life. I hike and bike in the Scottish Highlands so the only power is from my solar panel (mostly a joke in Scotland), my power bank, and the bike's dynamo. No chance of charging a hungry Garmin with all my other devices in the wilderness so I ignored that brand and chose Coros. The Dura comes in a smart box with cables, instructions, and a mount. I purchased a screen protector separately. Syncing with Corus app was a breeze. I had already saved half a dozen imminent routes to the app on my smartphone and whizzed them over to the Dura. Pleased about that as trying to avoid hefty subscriptions to Komoot or any other navigation platform for a route transfer facility. The Corus maps may be a little limited but they seem to be fine for the Dura. The controls on the Dura's wheel are intuitive once you discover the back button. I'm going to fit the (supplied) Dura holder to the bike handlebars next and it looks excellent. The Dura's bike alarm feature looks potentially useful for parking up outside shops etc without having to drag in the bike's valuables. So far..brilliant.

As expected the battery life is really good, but navigation can get tricky at times.

I bought it for the long battery life mainly when bike packing and it is amazing how the battery hardly goes down. It arrived 70 % charged, and its still on 60% after a few weeks use commuting to work. Good maps also. Syncing to the app can be tedious... but very happy with it

It is not living up to the claims about battery life, the navigation function doesn't always alert upcoming junctions so have to constantly be looking down just in case something is coming up which defeats the point of having it, and the sync to komoot is always a hassle both for downloading a route to the device and my completed rides being uploaded. I've been in contact with Coros customer service almost the whole time I've owned it trying to get these things sorted and in the process I've missed the Amazon return window. Before, their responses were very quick, now that I requested to return a week ago they aren't replying.

For very basic use this bike computer is just about alright and the battery is great.however many features are rubbish, especially everything to do with importing and following routes. it's just a mess.it also seems to have some odd attempts at recording my ride data that must be wrong. I've not got to the bottom of it yet and don't intend to waste my time as I've just looked at some of the more reputable review sites and they seem to think there are major problems here.shame.
