Too tasty
I've not been a real fan of really sweet, sugary things during my adult life, but I do love dark chocolate, which is actually healthy for you in great moderation. I was diagnosed prediabetic over a year ago, and sometimes that can be inherited like borderline cholesterol, but I decided I still should lose some weight and did, down to a size 2. I did it in a very healthy way, without any of these drugs that everyone's using, though, and I still kept losing weight after trying to eat more, but it's just staying off. Blood test results no longer place me in the prediabetic category, but it wasn't that far away from the line that I feel like I can just eat something with tons of sugar if I want, so I decided to try these. Yes, they're still sweetened but not with actual sugar. The body processes sugar and sugar alcohol or artificial sweeteners differently, I learned, so I finally gave these a try and really liked them. I learned over 30 years ago to always read labels for fat grams and saturated fat, so I wasn't really checking sugar content. I'd been eating frozen yogurt for years, thinking it was heathier than ice cream -- and it is when comparing fat and saturated fat -- but when I checked the label for sugar grams in the frozen yogurt, I was shocked at how high they are, so if I'm craving some ice cream, I won't eat any that has added sugar. Most still have sugar alcohol, but, as I say I. learned, the body processes that differently than sugar. They do have a little higher fat content than frozen yogurt, but nowhere even near what regular ice cream does. Viewing all these labels for sugar content has opened my eyes to why the U.S. has such a high population of obese (20% - 29% above ideal BMI/weight for height and gender) and morbidly obese (30% and higher above ideal BMI). Body builders or those with high muscle definition don't always fit their BMI, as muscle weighs more than fat. Anyway, these labels are showing 20-28 grams of ADDED sugar on top of what is already in the ingredients before that, and those are already high sugar content! THAT and these SUPER-SIZE fast food meals that have 50-75 grams of fat in one meal, when the most for an entire day shouldn't exceed 30 grams, plus all the sugary soda/pop and juices many drink throughout the day is why 60% of Americans now fall within the overweight-morbidly obese range. Some kids can barely walk because of what they're allowed to eat, which likely includes ultra-sugary cereals, cookies, candies, doughnuts and lots of greasy foods, and most will have a weight problem for the rest of their lives. The FDA (if we'll still have one) should most definitely set a limit for how much sugar can be added to foods, and super-sized fast food meals should be outlawed. We were healthier before them. I used to eat Special K with strawberries and really liked the one with blueberries the one time I tried it, but then I discovered that even those have something like 24 grams of added sugar! We have far too many with Type 2 diabetes, HBP and high cholesterol who are being treated for those with medications rather than doctors telling them that they have to lose weight, which is the opposite way of prevention. In a great majority of those cases, those three conditions can be eliminated with weight loss. Because the American approach is just to control them with medications rather than doctors helping to prevent them or treating them while they direct their patients into healthier eating and weight loss, that's one reason that health insurance is more expensive in the U.S. than in other countries -- we do nothing to prevent Type 2 diabetes, high cholesterol (which clogs the arteries) or high blood pressure, all of which cause some sort of more serious health problems, like strokes and heart attacks. Those add billions to what insurance pays for, while healthier countries have much lower rates for those occurring. Now that I've made my speech about unhealthy eating in the U.S. and medical problems directly associated with it, I'll just say that I enjoyed these too much, so I probably won't be ordering them again too soon, and when and if I do, they'll be kept way back in a refrigerator drawer where I won't see them or in the freezer!

Inedible! (That's inedible, not incredible. Well, incredibly bad)
Inedible! If there were a rating below one star I would give these that rating. When I opened the wrappers around three of them and in all three cases the chocolate was badly discolored.I decided to be daring and eat one and I regretted it. The texture was bad and it tasted terrible.I have purchased many of these from other suppliers and they were all fine. I will never buy anything from this company again. As to the photograph below, the dark areas are the color of dark chocolate. The lighter areas are a color that I have never seen in chocolate of any kind. Also, one big chunk had broken off (on the right side of the photograph) and what looks like a chunk on the left is actually a pile of granules.

Dry crumbles
Most of the chocolates seem like they were not mixed completely before baking or they were exposed to some type of damaging during storage, or they are just very old. The chocolates taste very powdery, dry and are discolored. They are dried up and fall apart when you open the wrapper. Very disappointed.
