Works great! At least mine does. After a break-in period. I was skeptical of the manual's claim that you had to use it 2-3 times before it would be functioning fully. But sure enough, the first couple of times it was quite lackluster...the wax barely moved. But on the 3rd or 4th use (I forget which), it was working exactly as I'd hoped it would. I highly recommend, I'm very happy with this.

Just got this for Christmas for my husband as nostalgia. We’ve been seeing them in the background of many tv shows so he wanted one again. They’re not shaped the same or as big as they used to be, however they are still very cool and calming. Thus one has a remote to change colors which the original ones did not. With them you had to pick a color and live with it. lol this one warms up quickly and the balls are a decent size. It’s just a nice little lamp. About 18” tall and rather streamlined instead of short and fat, but we like it!

Initially I was going to return this because it took longer than my other lava lamps to start flowing, and when it did get started, there was wax stuck on the sides that didn’t move at all. But I decided to keep it and turn it on for at least 6 hours every day. Sure enough, after about a week it was flowing beautifully within 30 minutes of turning it on. I’ve had it for 4 months now and I love how beautiful and calming it is. I also love that it shuts itself off after 8 hours so I don’t worry about overheating if I forget to turn it off. I appreciate that it’s smaller than my other lava lamp so it fits nicely in my living room. The remote control is an added plus. Definitely worth the price!

Love the safety feature that it automatically turns off after 8 hrs of use! The lamps get hot so this is definatly a plus if in round children's rooms!

Would give zero stars if I could, I got for my sons new room I set it up yesterday turned it on it took 30-45 min for the lava to even start moving had it on for maybe 3-4 hours and noticed the lava was not really moving so I turned it off turned it on again the next day and the lava was not moving really at all I moved it to get the lava to break up and move and now it’s just like the picture I attached . . . Really only got to enjoy it for legit 4 hours (if that) before I totally stopped working Correctly, also the remote to change the colors and turn it on and off didn’t work AT ALL . Product is very disappointing. Had it set up/on for less then 24 hours and I’m already returning it tomorrow.

My uncle loves his Xmas gift. My uncle is an old hippy and he said this “brings back memories” he loves the remote control and color changing options. The remote also has an auto off timer which he uses because even though it’s LED, it still gets hot.

I bought 3 of these for my grandsons for Christmas. One of them didn't work when I gave it to them on Christmas. They take FOREVER to heat up. Don't waste your money. Get a real lava lamp or a govee light.

Sensacional, o efeito é muito interessante e relaxante. Uma dica, tem que esperar umas 04h para ficar bom, num dia com temperatura de 28⁰C. Atenção para Crianças e PETs, pois é muito quente e o vidro pode se quebrar.
