Flowmaster 817522 American Thunder Cat-back Exhaust System

The 3 inch claps work awesome but the 2.5 inch clamps don't all seem to tighten down right and the left hanger they give you was kinda cheesy. All together the sound won't disappoint really nicesignature flowmaster rumble sound.

I'll admit I like the sound in general, sounds good outside, etc. However, be aware that there is fairly significant drone from about 1600-1950 rpm. I have actually downshifted to 5th a couple of times at 65mph to get out of that rpm range, and it is actually easier on the ears! Perhaps I'll get used to it, or perhaps I'll experiment with putting the factory resonator back in...NOTE: the only sub-standard pieces were the 1/4" bolts that clamp the shiny exhaust tips to the previous pipe section. These were completely inadequate, and I bent them badly and still didn't have the tips tight (you could easily pull them off the previous pipe section). I drilled out the 1/4" hole in the clamp to 5/16", got stainless 5/16" bolts/nuts/washers and installed. The 5/16" worked much better, but still have to seriously tighten these bolts to get the clamp to stay in place.Overall, I'm pretty satisfied with the actual exhaust sound, so I think 4 stars.

Tore the truck apart on a Saturday evening and went to install only to find that the muffler was not included and costumer support is not available until Monday.

System is super easy to install. Sound is great but the drone from 1500-2000 rpm or 60mph-70mph was just to much for my ears. I ordered the 50 delta flow and cut down the mid pipe down to install and now it is perfect. If you worry about the drone go with the Force II. Plenty loud and virtually no drone.

Will never buy or Recommend Flowmaster again becuse they make their products in CHINA.

This is a nice system. Just installed this on a 2013 Ford F150 FX4 crew cab. The fit and finish is very nice. The instructions were decent. Everything went together nicely. The only extra thing that I did was put a bit of weld on each connections to keep things from moving or twisting around. The clamps are very nice. The kit gives you an option for a side or back exit too, which gives you options. The sound is pure heaven of flowmaster exhaust. It's worth the price to have it all. Myself and a buddy installed in from start to finish in less than 2 hours.

Awesome system sound is just what I was looking for! Fit was perfect only problem was the tips didn’t not tighten down enough snap bolt had to use some regular exhaust clamps. Other than that very happy with the exhaust system.

Sounds good, I like it, was easy to install.

The media could not be loaded.  Sound clip is cold start after install of this system. Sounds awesome!!!!!!
