An Indispensable Tool for DIY Home Maintenance
As an around the home DIY’er, my needs from a multimeter are basic: checking A/C and D/C voltages and current. I use a lot of batteries for home and hobby devices, computers, etc., and I also use a multimeter to check voltages at wall plugs and the fuse box, along with the health of our automobile batteries. If a device that is battery powered stops working, the first thing I check is the battery. The ExDleuk Multimeter incorporate far more capabilities than I need. In terms of the features I do use, checking the charge state of batteries, both hobby, automotive, and various home tools, along with household voltages and current, it’s performed as expected. I especially appreciate the NCV feature; it seems very sensitive and responded immediately and without touching the wires in all of my tests. The Live Wire mode is another useful feature for around the house; no longer will I have to trick the grandkids into grabbing wires to find out which one is hot. They’ve been catching on anyway. The unit arrives with the ambient temperature displayed in ℃. The included accordion style manual seems to imply that the temperature can be set to ℉, but doesn’t provide any instruction on how to switch it; I haven’t figured out yet either. In all other respects the meter is easy to use and the “Auto” mode will automatically set the meter to the appropriate mode when readings are instigated. The only features that need to be manually selected, at least for my uses, are the “live” mode and the “NCV” modes. The 4000-count referred to is the meters resolution and True RMS capability means that the meter can read nonsinusoidal waves; waves with distorted, irregular patterns, as opposed to symmetrical waves (sinusoidal). It’s actually sort of amazing how inexpensive a meter with True RMS (root mean square) capability has become, even with only 4000 count resolution. The meter also has a small flashlight in the back, lit by holding down the “SEL” button. I found a use for it immediately when doing NCV tests under the kitchen sink. It’s more useful than I would have thought. The ExDleuk Multimeter features a pullout stand along with a manually enabled backlit display, making it easier and more convenient to read. It is supplied with the two removable probes, a small screw driver for the battery cover, the two AAA batteries needed to power it, a zippered nylon storage case and the user manual.

Nice design,Works great
This Digital Multimeter has impressed me with its sturdy build and compact design. I particularly appreciate the large, clear display, which shows measurements and various settings/modes in an easy-to-read format from any angle. The accuracy of the readings is excellent, and they match those from my other high-end branded devices. The smart auto-ranging mode is a standout feature, allowing me to seamlessly switch between tasks like AC/DC voltage, resistance, and continuity without needing to manually adjust the settings. This makes the testing process simple, fast, and precise. For those who prefer more control, the manual mode allows for flexible measurements, further enhancing efficiency. One of my favorite features is the non-contact voltage detection (NCV), which safely detects live AC wires without any direct contact. The audible and visual alerts make it easier to identify electrical faults, saving time and ensuring safety. This multimeter is incredibly user-friendly, requiring no complex setup. Just select the measurement parameter, connect the probes, and you're ready to go. Even beginners can easily get the hang of it.The backlit display and built-in flashlight are highly useful, especially when working in dark or confined spaces, like during vehicle repairs. I also appreciate the data hold function, which allows me to save measurement data for later review and comparison.Compact and lightweight, this multimeter is perfect for on-the-go use. It even comes with a durable storage pouch, making it convenient for both home repairs and travel.

Ok multimeter, some flaws
This is an okay multimeter with many features but also some flaws:Pros:- Delivered with a soft-shell carrying case and a small screwdriver for the battery compartment (which is nice you don't have to search for a tiny screwdriver each time changing the batts).- I tested voltages of a few known circuits and it read each one accurately.- The display backlight is a nice feature and helps to read the screen easily, and the Hold feature is great if you're in a position where you can't see the screen at the moment of measurement.Cons:- I wouldn't rely on this tool's Non-Contact Voltage (NCV). I tested in many different ways and unless the top of the meter is exactly flat against the outlet and in a certain exact spot, it wouldn't read it as live voltage (see pic #3). My comparison was against a brand name stand-alone NCV tester pen, which is much more sensitive near any live voltage.- The built-in flashlight is very dim and pretty useless. I tested with the lights turned off and as you can see in pic #4, it barely lights up the small sheet of included instructions.- Ambient temperature shown on the screen in pic #5, but unfortunately it can only display C and the multimeter is not built to change it to F.If you simply want a working digital multimeter with auto-ranging capabilities, then this is a good buy. If you want all of the extra bells and whistles, I wouldn't count on them.
