Caydo M1C Art Projector
I am enjoying this product. The big plus is the room does not need to be fully blacked out to get the job done.

Works for me
Both p1 & m1c are excellent projectors. I'd tried both. However for art the p1 was somewhat difficult for my needs. If you're a painter either will be fine- but for sketching from table (11 x 14 smaller) m1c is better- closer distance to drawing. I've included photo of setup device. Note- plenty of light for daylight sketching. I even had to turn brightness down. Easy to use applications and settings

Got Local Send to finally work but Art Draw App is a deal breaker
The projector might be ok as far as projectors go. I was willing to work with this weird thing and it's weird apps. HOWEVER, the Art Draw App will not "add" my photos from a flash drive plugged into it. That's a deal breaker for me. Additionally, because I can't get the Art Draw App to add photos to it, I have no idea if it is going to crop the picture like when it does when I pull a photo up from the "files" folder. I can't use it for the purpose it indicated would help me with -- tracing. My humble opinion is that it should bring/add a photo from the flash drive. If it shows in the "file" folder, it should add to the Art Draw app. Actually, I'm not sure the projector is any good either, honestly. But I gave this a very good try with no hope of getting it to do what it said it would do - allow me to trace photos -- at the end of this convoluted adventure! So I want to send it back ASAP and a return of my money.

Works but difficult to work with.
Projector works, software with it not so much to manageable. Problem is aspect ratio of images to canvas. You have two choices 16:9, and 4:3. So if you want your image to be square, even projected on canvas or paper. It is difficult. It can be done. You have to weigh the time factor. Might be faster to just draw. But when I do get it setup correctly, nice, saves time. The app that let's you a square only work on part of the canvas so if only want to trace one image, no problem, works good. The brightness is good. I just dim the lights in the room a little.

Projector
The software did not work as stated. We emailed support and followed each of their instructions and we still could not get pictures to go from usb to front of grid. I would not recommend this product. Previous review was submitted February 2015, After several communications with tech support we sent the projector back. Ada form tech support reached out and provided us with another projector FREE OF CHARGE. We received the new projector and set it up and it works great. Customer support such as the is very rare. We can't thank them enough . So, with that said I would recommend this product with a 5 star review.

Good hardware, software not so much
This one is a little bit tough so I’m going to really default my review to the projector. This is a typical projector which is very small and battery operated so it’s very easy to set up wherever you need. It is not very bright so you will need to work and dim light. Sharpness is suitable for rough drawing, but I really wouldn’t want to watch a movie on it.Hardware has good build quality. The projector does not feel or look cheap and it has a batterynso you can really set it up where you want it.The drawing software on the other hand while presenting a bunch of features, I found a bit finicky. Once you get your image set up, it’s fine, but I would do everything in one session because if I try to go back and match what I did before you are going to have a hard time getting it exactly that.
