Perfect freezer meal starter pack
Ironically I got these at the same time I got the Souper Cubes and I have to say that these are a really great option in comparison. I like that this comes with a 2 1cup portions tray and 1 2cup portions tray. The Souper Cubes trays are 4 1cup portions tray or 2 2cup portions tray, so this is a great option to get access to both sizes or if you don't plan on doing huge batches at once. For a fraction of the price, these really give a great value. With that being said, the Souper Cubes are a bit sturdier and have a metal rim reinforcement that helps with staying upright. The lids to these are also made of a thin silicone vs. a hard plastic. Overall, you just can't beat this price. The cubes help save freezer space and it is really easy to pop out whatever it is that you are freezing. I've saved extra spaghetti sauce, broths, and even leftover biriyani in these so far. I love being able to cut down on food waste by freezing leftovers, or prep easy freezer meals for busy nights. Would definitely recommend these.

Nice Size, Good Seal, Perfect for freezer soups & gigantic ice cubes
These are perfectly portioned and have just enough stability that they don't need another dish to support the bottom once full. The seals for the tops are leak proof. Even filled to the edge with water for ice, the tops held and expanded a bit with the water.

Works well but has many crevices to clean
This is nice to use for freezing portions of soup or thick sauces, but I suspect anyone without a dishwasher is going to find cleaning food remnants caught in the various nooks and crannies very tedious. I also didn't like how difficult it was to pop the frozen blocks out of the 2 block mold - getting one side started was a little tricky. The silicone itself feels fairly sturdy and not as floppy and prone to deforming on the way from the counter to the freezer as I feared.

No Metal Rod Stabilizing The Perimeter
YAY! Autumn is here, along with my usual procedure of making soups and stews that make enough for a couple current meals as well as leftovers. But the issue becomes storing the leftovers so that they are easy to access and utilize. These storage containers are just what I need. The 2-piece set includes one container that holds a 2-cup portion and another that is divided in the center to hold (2) 1-cup portions. The lids fit firmly and are clear enough that you can see what's inside. The entire set is dishwasher, oven and microwave safe. They also are small and will not take up a lot of room in the freezer. The advantage of using these trays is that you can freeze in the portion size that works best for you AND once frozen, you can easily push the food cubes out and store in Ziploc Freezer bags, thus eliminating the need to purchase a large number of these containers. My only objection is that this set is not stabilized with a metal rod around the perimeter of the containers. I have another set that IS stabilized as such and it makes for a much more sturdy container to pour soup into/carry to the freezer. On the other hand, keep in mind that if your set has metal in the perimeter, it is no longer microwave safe. There are pros and cons to just about everything, I guess. At the current price of $10 for both containers, this is a good buy especially for someone who lives alone.

Handy sizes
I'm trying to avoid using plastic containers for food, so these silicone containers take care of that issue. These are handy sizes. One is a two-cup container, and the other has 2 one-cup sections. The insides of the containers have fill lines marked with metric measurements (125ml/ 250ml/500ml), which is very handy. The lids stay on fairly well--the edges of the lids have a groove that fits around the top lip of the containers for a nice seal; however, because the silicone containers are bendable, the lid can come off if you bend or flex the container too much. That is a minor issue and not a deal breaker. These are easy to clean, and I love that they can go in the oven, freezer, or microwave.
