Meta Knight amiibo - Japan Import (Super Smash Bros Series)

Like many people, I have been trying to collect every amiibo. But I actually enjoy using them, rather than keeping them indefinitely trapped in their plastic prison. So these Japanese and EU region amiibos are great for me, since they are usually cheaper than North American ones, and only the box is different, which I open anyway. I also like the option of having one come in two days with Prime rather than waiting forever on an eBay option. So while it is regrettable that they are still higher than MSRP here, it's still better than nothing.As you can see in my photos, the physical amiibo figure is literally the exact same across all regions, including the writing on the bottom of the platform. And they are all region free and will work an any region Wii U.Shulk can be used in a major way in Super Smash Bros 3DS/Wii U and Kirby and the Rainbow Curse, and in a minor, generic way in Mario Party 10, Hyrule Warriors, and Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker.It's too bad the supply issues are so rampant on these, because they are actually very high quality figures. The paint/art and modeling is done very well on them, and they all look very nice on my display shelf.So if you are like me and don't care about all the boxes matching, or you open all your amiibos, this is a fantastic option!

Meta Knight is probably the hardest Wave 3 store executive to find due to Best Buy seriously screwing up distributing him. He's also the most expensive here out of the four (he was $50 when I got him. Rosalina was around $45 and both Shulk and Lucario were around $30). Though, I'm guessing it's like this because of shipping and customs.Meta Knight is probably second to Shulk and Samus when it comes to detail. Every Meta Knight is different due to being hand painted. Mine has a few small black lines on the mask, but I'm pretty sure that's partly due to being hand painted. His wings, shoulder pads, gauntlets, and Galaxia all look amazing.Aside from Smash, Meta Knight can also be used for Kirby and the Rainbow Curse. I forgot what he does though. Either way if you're a Kirby fan or collector, this amiibo is a great thing to have regardless if you use it or not.

Meta Knight Amiibo looks so much better with his wings than without. There were only some minor paint flaws on the silver face plate and I happened to have a silver sharpie marker which worked perfectly to cover up the minor flaws. Good cool-looking figurine and works well as an amiibo. Was a bit pricier than most standard amiibo because this one is an older model and is not as commonly found anymore, but I prefer this version to the newer version which he does not have his wings open.

This is a very well made ammibo to add to your collection especially if you collect Kirby characters. It also says it's a new updated ammibo!!!Great purchase. Well worth it!!!!

I believe my purchase price at the time was $30 with very low, if any, shipping costs. For an imported item, I find it to be a justifiable price. No 2 Meta Knights are ever the same, most will always have a mark on the mask, but it looks like battle scars so its cool. Overall, was happy with my purchase and glad I got one before the price truly sky-rocketed. Honestly, $30 for an IMPORT amiibo is fine, Play-Asia sometimes charges $20 even for the US ones so this was good. Just don't over pay on shipping or, and at least imo, over $30 for an amiibo (especially something as rare as Meta knight, or Lucina, Robin.....etc)PS.Packing wise, it came well protected with air bags, infact, those air bags were so good I used to ship a product out myself over the ones I had already XD

Well with an exception of a small bend in the left hand corner. It arrived on time and met expections. The only known problem was the limited amount that was in stock, because in was planning to order it during the Black Friday, Cyber Monday shopping days. But knowing I was able to secure the last one before that time makes it all worth while come Christmas Morning. Too all who are reading this thinking it's way to early to start thinking about Christmas, well if someone in your family is hard core collectors of amiibos even you would understand. Heck even if your hard core collector yourself, still worth the money to have something super coll from Japan. Even if the box is written in Japanese.
