I was looking at multiple toolkits, and to be honest this is not the one I was initially going to buy. as it had many less reviews than a competitor. What eventually one we over was the fact that A) this has 27 items. B) the other one included items I already had. C) they had a few reviews about the seller not seeming to care if something got shipped.This product has less reviews but higher stars, it was coming from Taiwan (not China) so i was somewhat hesitant. But the quality of the items was apparently higher based on the images provided. And they really are! I got it today and the images really are: What you see is what you get. Several different shape files, large flat sheets of sandpaper, Shaping bricks, a nice MM ruler and what looks like line gauge. A defect free cutting mat, a beatiful bag with a zipper to store it all in nicely, and hard plastic case for contain the sharp bits! Get this if your getting a upgraded toolkit, or even if this is your first. The only thing I wish this had was a pair of side snippers (Not scissors), I already have a pair, so its not a huge downer for me. One more downside is the picture clearly shows that the sanding stones are supposed to be 1200grit, I received 4 600grit instead.

I haven't used the kit yet, but it seems to have all the tools I'll need to start building my model rooms. Unfortunately the plastic storage case arrived shattered, but the vendor is working on correcting the problem. UPDATE on 7/8/2019....I just received the replacement for the cracked plastic storage container. This vendor followed through on this. I am totally satisfied.

Thought would give this set a try. Worth every penny . When I first got the kit I did not think I would use all the tools, well I did! These kits are a great value for modeler s and arts and crafts people. Buying these items separately would cost alot more.

Really cool kit, bought it to put together metal models, used them on a small plastic LEGO model first and bent them out of shape, not sure how these will be okay for metal if the plastic bends them like that. Some of the items were already open, not sure if that was on purpose or if it was a returned but all in all MOST of the set is useful

Perfect for first timers! I bought to do a model car kit, never have done one, this had everything I needed and things I didn’t realize I needed. Not once have I thought, “I wish I had ....”. I haven’t even used everything. Comes with an organization bag, not necessary, won’t close with everything in it, but I don’t use it anyways.

This kit has some useful tools. I have used the replaceable sharp blades to trim sprues, the small files to eliminate burrs, and the buffing materials to smooth edges. These tools are simple, but useful, and I'm happy so far with my purchase.
