American Plastic Toys 16" Dump Truck (Assorted Colors)

I just happened across this truck when I was looking for a big truck for my 2 year old for his birthday. We received a blue and green one. I thought for sure it would break easily based on the price and how cheap and lightweight the plastic feels. It is extremely sturdy! The dump part of it falls offs easily, mainly because he carries it around by that part, but it snaps right back on. He actually sits on the truck part like a ride on toy and rolls around sometimes. It rolls EXTREMELY well! He has a blast with this thing!

Great value! This toy is even though made out of plastic, looked cheap, it's pretty durable! My 2 year old 24 lbs son loves playing with it everyday. He loves loading blocks and other small toys on it then dumps them out all over. Repeat. When he gets bored, he would take the dumb bed part off (all by himself) and then ride on the truck around the house. So it has a use as little boy scooter as well. (I know it's a misuse but hey, he's a boy.) We have not yet taken it out to the playground but I'm sure it will be a big hit at the sandbox too. I will not hesitate to get another similar toy from this manufacture again.Check out the photo :)

When I went to meet my best friend’s grandson who was almost one year old, I wanted to take a toy to give him. I had purchased a few small gifts and thought it would be fun to put them into a dump truck. This truck was exactly what I was looking for. It’s well built, has wheels that roll very easily, and the back easily tilts. It was love at first sight when he saw it. The truck arrived quickly and I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a fun toy for either a boy or girl.

Product is as shown. My son loves it, especially since it looks a bit like a Unimog. Its well made, and I like how the dump box is long and places the center of gravity well forward of the rear axle so when its full it doesn't have the tendency to dump the contents until he wants to dump it. My only complaint is the relative weakness of the dump box hinges. The box will come off if the child moves the truck around vigorously enough and I can see the tabs eventually failing.

Our house on vacation had this truck and my 2 yo loved it so much I bought one for our house…we use it at the beach and yard along with our more substantial tonka truck.

Not that big at all. I realize it says how big it is in the description. The plastic is extremely thin and cheap. (Daycare purchase) If one of the kids put their bodyweight on it, it will break. For $17. It’s not worth it in my opinion.

My grandbaby loves this truck! He pushes it around, fills it with other toys and takes it outside to play. It's his favorite truck. The bed is removable and it does come off at times, but this truck is pretty durable for the rough play it's been through. I'd get another in other colors, if available. The truck is a pretty good size, too. It's a really good toy for the price.
