A perfect fit for my 1993 5 speed manual shift VW Eurovan

Plastic inserts had no threads and left so much space between my shift rod and the end/top of the inside of this knob. This created instability and looseness. Poor design imho. Which sucks bc this thing feels good. Would have been a pleasure to drive with it

So Far so good. It is not getting loose as I use it every time I drive the car. Hopefully it stays tight unlock the other one I got. The grip feels good.... like a sport car :)

Not suited for automatic transmission which i have.

I have an imported classic LR Defender so I was skeptical that I could find a shifter knob that would fit but this one not only fit well but it’s also very nice looking. It has lots of options for installation. It also has a few templates that you can choose from for your gear pattern. Mine was not a perfect gear pattern as I only have 4 speeds but the one I chose is a closer match than anything else I could find anywhere for my import. Recommend and would purchase again.

This did not work for my Mustang (which it said it woudl fit). Possibly won't work for other Ford products. It went on easy enough but then promptly came loose 3 times at which point I gave up, I re-tightened the screws each time. It uses set screws instead of just screwing on the shaft of the shifter like the original. I opted for just a cheap replacement off another site that clearly showed it was threaded like the original knob.

Does not fit the 2010 Altima standard stick shift knob. The knob needs a 1/2 inch notch (hole) on the bottom so the gear shifter can be absorbed.
