DEWALT 20V MAX XR 1/2 Inch Cordless Hammer Drill Kit with 8AH Battery and Charger (DCD1007WW1)

This is a great combo and even better if you get it for under $300. The 8ah powerpack battery gives the drill plenty of power and the fast charger does indeed charge fast-with 1 bar it charged the 8ah in about an hour. Using 4", 6", and 8" hole saws, its went right through wood. With masonry bits has went through stone with no problem. Performs well with 5ah battery also. LED light can be put on 20 min timer and be used as a work light in dark attics or crawl spaces( does a pretty good job!). Anti rotation shuts it down if it tries to spin or jerk from your hand-great feature and works well. Comes with a handle to get a better grip. It has some weight to it especially when using a bigger amp battery-it is capable of some heavy work so it makes sense. Great drill and great price for under $300.

This drill rocks. There is just nothing bad to say about this thing, other than being a little heavy, but that's to be expected. Super powerful!

I put it in first gear and tried to put an 8-inch lag bolt into wood with a very small pilot hole and it made it 80% then just stopped and would not do it. I had some problems with the chuck, like when I twist it, it makes a ticking sound and does not tighten or loosen.I feel like it has some power, but first gear should have more torque.It has a good battery and charger.If you find it for less than $300 then its fine, but it's not worth more than $300.
