Perfect for my indoor plants
The lights arrived quickly and come with multiple options to fit them. These are the white ones and they are quite bright so this needs taking into consideration as to placement. They are really easy to link and my plants are looking better already after only a weeks use.

Good quality lights
I really like these lights: my plants respond well, they're economical, adaptable, and provide a really nice ambience. For me there are two real downsides:1. There doesn't seem to be a way to extend the cord between the lights. I think the supplier offering this would be very smart2. The lights cannot be controlled by smart switches. The only timer options you have are to set it to one of the 3 options (4, 9 or 13 hours) and in theory the lights come on at the same time each day but you can only adjust this but turning the lights on at a different time the next day. Annoyingly it's at least once a fortnight that my lights do not come on.

Excellent flexibility, good general use grow lights, suitable for under-cupboard lighting too
This review is for " Barrina T5 1FT Grow Lights for Indoor Plants, Yellow, Full Spectrum Sunlight, 4 Packs (Yellow, 30cm)."This is an excellent set of lights reproducing a good daylight light quality. The range of installation options is great too. There are metal clips that can be screwed to a wall or other surface which hold the lights in place - yes metal clips not those flimsy plastic ones that break easily. You can also use sticky pads, cable ties or wrap double-sided velcro tape around - all provided in the box.Lights can be joined together in a series, either with short 1" connectors that join the lights in a continuous line, or use up to three 18" connector wires which allows greater spacking and flexibility of positioning. There should be an option for everyone in that lot. There are two mains power plugs/cable with master switch that can be used to make either a single run of lights or two separate ones. **Warning - dont plug both mains plugs into a single light or series of lights as this may cause a short circuit. Also, each light fitting can be switched on/off individually. The switching is all by simple manual switches which makes these ideal for controlling with a smart plug for timed on/off routines. The only thing you should be aware of when using them for grow lights is that they dont have extra red/blue LEDs which are often found on lights intended to boost plant growth to the maximum. They will still do a good job of increasing light levels in the daytime in a dark corner of a room where you want to grow indoor plants. All I need to do now is decide whether to use these for my paludarium, or instead use them as kitchen under-cupboard lights, as I think the light quality means they are very suitable for this use too.I'm very happy with these lights and rate them five stars. The price at the time of review was around £29 including a 20% onscreen voucher.

A neat little kit
Surprisingly bright considering the low power requirements - each light consuming just 5 watts so a total of 20 watts if using the full set. Quite impressive. I used a watt meter to verify the power draw and it is exactly as specified. The lights can be configured in a few different ways - daisy chained with short cables to run, say, four in parallel, joined with small couplers to run as a long strip or two x two jointed and parallel etc. There are two power leads included so they can be split to use in two different places. Really versatile. What also impresses is the multitude of fixings provided. Velcro, cable ties, metal clips for screws, sticky pads - just about every conceivable installation method is provided for.I've got some lettuce and rocket just starting to sprout under these. It will be a few weeks before I can fully evaluate the performance - I have also started some at the same time under more expensive, higher power lighting so I can compare - I will check back in a few weeks provide an update.

Lots of options here for growing from seed to plant
The first thing that struck me when I unboxed these grow lights from Barrina was the multitude of options included for installing and using them. Thought has gone into these lights. You've got sticky pads, screws and if all else fails, trusty cable ties to position these lights depending on your needs.I have been growing my own tomatoes, sweet peppers, aubergines, microgreens and a multitude of other vegetables for a handful of years now and it is an extremely enjoyable hobby to take a seed and bring it onto a full-grown fruiting plant. I enjoy growing more than I do eating!I have a cold greenhouse so I have to wait until spring before I can use it for my tender plants. At the beginning of the year, I start to grow my peppers and aubergines indoors, followed by tomatoes a little later. The problem you face when starting plants from seed is that you need to be flexible with your lighting. At first, you want the lights close together while all the little seedlings are short. Once the seedlings start to bloom into larger individual plants you then need to space out your grow lights. This kit is great for giving you the option of having either two individual sets of lights (there are two mains plugs and cords) or you can link all of the lights in series. To link the lights, you have two options. You can use the wires which allow them to be spread out or you can use the little connectors. See my photos for details. Each light has its own little on/off switch. If you have the lights in series, you can switch them on and off independently. The previous light in the series doesn't have to be on to make the others work. Neat. Now, as we are heading into winter, and I have a few hungry (guinea pig) mouths to feed, I need to start thinking about growing lettuce and coriander microgreens. I am hoping these lights will be just the job for that project. As soon as I have them up and running, I will return to update my review should they not perform as expected. But so far, I am impressed with these lights and the options they offer. Five out of five stars from me.
