Bose New SoundLink Flex Portable Bluetooth Speaker (2nd Gen), Portable Outdoor Speaker with Hi-Fi Audio, Up to 12 Hours Battery Life, Waterproof and Dustproof, Black

Gem of a speaker under ₹12,000 – Bose nailed it!I have owned many speakers in this price range, but this Bose is hands down the best one I’ve used so far.Sound Quality:The balance is perfect. Vocals are clear, highs are crisp without any harshness, and the bass is tight with a good punch. It’s not boomy or overwhelming – just the right amount that you can listen for hours without any fatigue. Plays every genre beautifully, from Bollywood and classical to rock, pop, and EDM.Build & Battery:Typical Bose premium build. Compact, feels solid, and looks great in any room. Battery backup is reliable for daily use and travel. Connects quickly and holds the connection well.Pros:• Exceptional sound balance for the price • Bass is deep but controlled, no distortion at high volume • No listening fatigue even after long sessions • Handles all types of music really well • Trusted Bose qualityCons:• None at this price. Genuinely impressed.Final Verdict:If you want one of the best speakers under ₹12K, go for it blindly. This is a gem of a product by Bose and absolute value for money. Highly recommended!

This review is particularly for those looking to pair two Flex 2 units in stereo—if you just want my standalone impressions of the speaker itself, you can check out my previous review below.I bought my first SoundLink Flex (2nd Gen) last month and fell in love with its warm signature sound and extreme portability, but I really missed true stereo separation. Instead of dropping heavy cash on a single SoundLink Max—or the SoundLink Plus, which is still mono—I ordered a second Flex 2.My research showed that dual Flex units beat a single Plus in both value and soundstage: you spend less (or roughly equal), yet you unlock genuine stereo width.Daily flexibility is fantastic—one stays in my room and the other in my kids' room, and whenever I want a dedicated listening session, I just bring them together. If I’m traveling by air or packing light, I have the option of carrying just one unit or splitting the luggage weight. The only minor con is having to charge two devices separately, but that’s negligible compared to the modular versatility. Also, older reviews of the Flex 1 criticized the clunky app pairing and lack of an EQ, but Bose addressed both on the Flex 2 with an adjustable 3-band EQ in the app and a physical shortcut button that makes pairing instant.Running two Flex 2 units in a stereo pair sounds phenomenal. The physical channel separation, depth, and signature warm tone easily outshine bulkier, single-box options in this price class. While the shortcut button makes linking straightforward, a few software updates would make it unbeatable:* Auto-Reconnect Memory: The primary speaker should remember its last paired state and automatically handshake with the second unit on power-up, removing the need to trigger the shortcut every session.* Remove the Two-Speaker Limit: Bose should adopt open multi-speaker broadcasting similar to JBL's chaining, letting users link more than two units for larger outdoor gatherings.* Win-Win for Bose & Users: Lifting the pairing cap would give owners modular flexibility while directly encouraging customers to buy multiple Bose speakers over time.—— Old Review ——-Gorgeous in Sandstone: The color looks subtle, premium, and clean—definitely beats the standard black box look.Warm, Room-Filling Sound: Signature smooth Bose warmth with rich vocals and surprisingly tight, punchy bass that easily fills up a room without distorting.Made for Travel & Backpacks: Super compact, flat, and light (~590g). It slips right into a backpack or laptop sleeve without eating up space.Real-World Battery: Got around 8 hours of playback over 3 days at a solid 60–70% volume—plenty of juice for weekend getaways.Pro Tip from an Ex-DJ: Don't get lost in online spec sheets or wattage numbers. Sound is personal—always listen first and trust what feels best to your own ears. The Smart Setup Hack: If you're eyeing the SoundLink Plus or max for ₹25k-35k, buy two Flex units instead. For the same budget, running a pair in true wireless stereo will blow away any single portable speaker.

Amazing product, gives sucha clear Sound and bass. 100% worth the priceOne Important thing:Do not update the app to latest version, as the firmware update makes the vocals low and bass bad, it then just sounds like any other speaker. Losses it's bose signature soundDate of manufacture: April 2026Import : June 2026I had to return the old one since I updated under replacement and made sure not to download the app.

I had tribit maxsound plus before this but it started showing issues within 1.5 years.Another alternative to this bose one was jbl flip 7, which is louder and cheaper than Bose.I went with Bose because i wanted excellent build quality this time (jbl is good too). The sound this 20W speaker produces is similar in loudness to the tribit one but miles miles apart in clarity. The base is decent, not super loud but very pleasing, plus you can boost it a little from the app. The app has only minimalist eq option (jbl has 7 band eq), but i like how simple it is.The sound this produces is really top notch. I can understand the rating this has and i fully agree to it. Blind buy soundbar this is, so pleasing to the ear.Got it in sale for ~13k and its more than worth it for the price.

Initial Impressions and Setup:At first, I found the Bose SoundLink Flex Gen 2 a bit overwhelming with its bass. The strong low-end seemed to overpower the vocals and instrumentals, lacking the balance I typically enjoy. However, I followed a key approach: playing it 3 hours daily at medium volume without EQ adjustments for the first two weeks, as it seemed the sound quality benefited from some break-in time. The total time spent playing the speaker over 15 days at 3 hours per day is 45 hours for proper open-up. It’s also worth noting that this model sounds best when laid flat.Sound Quality Over TimeAfter two weeks, the speaker began to perform exceptionally well. The sound became fuller and more balanced, with bass that complemented rather than overwhelmed other frequencies. Vocals and instrumental clarity improved significantly, creating an immersive listening experience. Additionally, I found no EQ adjustment necessary after this initial period, as the sound naturally settled into an impressive balance.Design and Portability:The Flex Gen 2 stands out with its rugged design and IP67 water and dust resistance rating, making it perfect for outdoor and indoor use alike. Its compact size and durable, silicone-backed build make it easy to carry, while also handling drops and scratches well.Battery Life and Charging:Battery life lives up to Bose’s claim, delivering up to 12 hours on a full charge. Charging is efficient with the USB-C port, which also allows for a quick recharge. Overall, it’s reliable for extended use, whether indoors or out.Final Thoughts:For those looking for a portable, high-quality speaker, the Bose SoundLink Flex Gen 2 excels. While it may require a brief break-in period to reach its best sound, the results are worth it. Avoid high volumes in the first couple of weeks, and you’ll find that it naturally delivers great audio without the need for EQ tweaks.

Great sound but nothing extraordinary. Definitely a premium device. If you want same quality sound, you can try other cheaper options. The money being paid is for - build quality + brand + sound eq customisation options and then sound.battery could have been better

Ultimate speaker. The build quality is superb. The battery was from 100% to 90% after four hours of continuous use. Since I use it at low volume in the office, that may explain the excellent battery performance. Just as Apple is known for perfection in mobile devices, Bose holds a similar position in the world of speakers.I had initially planned to buy a Marshall speaker and had even placed the order. However, after some research, I decided to go with Bose instead. The sound is solid, refined and soothing. It may not be the ideal choice for a loud party, as the maximum volume is not exceptionally high, but it is a delight for those who enjoy sipping a drink while listening to light music in the evening.

Great speaker! Give it some time when you listen to it for the first time, and you’ll start to love it. Here are my EQ settings: 8, 3, 3. Enjoy! 🔊

Absolutely amazing ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️This Bluetooth speaker is so powerful and easy to use. It’s compact yet provides amazing quality audio. I bought laptop and the audio was too low and this has changed the entire experience from average to perfection. Highly recommended. I bought the green and it’s gorgeous.
