I actually used this to grease and seal a garden hose nozzle onto the hose. We did not want to use a silicone seal when working with plants. It sealed up the attachment quite well and was easy to apply. So, there's yet another use for this versatile product.

Food safe grease is a must have to keep on hand in the kitchen drawer. Far more useful than you think. Necessary for O-rings on espresso makers, but also for so many other things. Basically anything needing a light tough of lubrication in the kitchen, it works. Flip top cap is so much better than the screw on types usually found on most other brands. Keep Q-tips nearby, because only a tiny amount is generally needed.

How could anybody say anything bad about grease? It does what grease is supposed to do! I didn’t need a food grade grease for a coffee or espresso machine, just a lubricant for things around the kitchen and the house in general. I had been using automotive general-purpose grease, and found this BX grease much easier “on the nose” and much easier to clean off my fingers. This is just what I needed. The 1.7 oz size will last me for years to come. I first used it on my oven racks that normally stick. Now they glide! Next up, sliding window tracks. Now, I'm actually looking for things to lube.

I really don't like the fact that this product doesn't indicate anywhere what the ingredients are or what it's made of. This make me a bit nervous since it's supposed to be used in areas where consumption of small amounts of it are possible. Other than that it seems to work just fine. The tube isn't terribly large, but still a good value since it should last nearly forever. It's easy to use and the container seals up nicely.

This is a must use item to keep machinery functional for longer. Comes with a good amount of food grade lube which will last a long time

Easy to apply..food safe...works great. I use this for more than just food items because it works great although I try to keep it exclusive to anything water and food related. It has worked great on gaskets for my water system as well as for threads on coffee related equipment. Would definitely get again!
