LEGOElves The Starlight Building Set (Multi-Colour)

Oh I can’t have enough of these beautiful pink and lavender Lego Elves structures. This set has a great looking green top-floor where the inn guess chamber is. It’s so appealing to arrange a selection of these magical, colourful houses into a cosy little village. Our daughter and even her little brother agree. I’m somewhat less impressed by the dragons in the series but the children quite like these. This set only includes a small baby orange fire dragon (Spark) and his egg.As always with the elven houses, the inn is very detailed, with little cups and pots and outside magical forest decorations. This inn however only has limited additional secrets and functionalities; only a bed with a hiding stash, and 2 handles to position fires over a heating place. But it comes with a very welcome elf table and chairs. And a cellar entrance with lavender doors where Spark can rest. The set comes with 2 elves Sira Copperbrnach (the Sky captain & inn keeper) and Azari .The construction and assembly was good fun according to the main 8-year old chief elf builder, it just took her a couple of sessions on her own where I only had to assist with the stickers. As always the instructions are very clear. The children greatly enjoyed playing with the set afterward. The completed house and accessories look very pleasing.All in all a great Elf-hangout, in the expected great Lego-quality. Too bad that the Elves line seems to be discontinued, for now, and that sets are getting scarce through regular channels. With a little imagination the line could have been taken much further.

Cute Lego set, the inside of the Inn is very small and the one bedroom is just a bed. My kids and I had fun customizing it so that it has more floor space both at ground and second floor levels, the beauty of Lego toys I guess.
