Does a good job
This worked well for me to remove a stain on my mattress from a stoma leak. I was so sad that I had stained the mattress and was very pleased that this did the job in removing the stain

Don't wait, use this as soon as possible.
This is my guest bed mattress. Had a mattress protector which obviously didn't work. Now bought an incontinence one, fingers crossed. Anyway. Both sides of the mattress were stained - the normal - sweat, urine... It took nearly three bottles to do both sides; approximately five sprays in total. I'm thinking it's because the stains are over two years old. Maybe if you treat the stains as soon as possible you'll need less product. But it did eventually do the job.I've seen comments on here about it only being water, one person said you could probably drink it. Please ignore that. It does definitely have a bleach smell to it. The bottle also states 5% oxygen based bleaching agents. For the price it's worth a try before shelling out on a new mattress.

Very effective product
This worked very effectively on some blood stains from my injured cat. The minor stains disappeared straight away and the darker one after just two applications. Strongly recommended for ease of use and effectiveness.

Not sure if it worked as well as marketed
Some improvement but not as good as expected.

This product is amazing at what it does
This product is amazing at what it does. I mean I was pretty sceptical that it would leave some kind of stain or residue, plus not really remove much of the stain. I was completely wrong. I have done some research and the product decays to leave only water and destroys itself in the process, an amazing feat of Chemistry. I was thinking what it would do was act like normal soap, whereby the solvent dissolves stains, that is just makes them move about easier and the soap is still left in the mattress. I thought it would dissolve the stain and move it away from the top of the mattress and make it less visible, which would be satisfactory to me. It's actually much better than that. This is not a soap like product at all. What it actually does is break down any organic material (Body fluids, animal parts or food) into water and CO2. That is it destroys the stain substance and the product itself leaving no trace. The ideal result for stains in a bed, it doesn't just hide them it destroys them, leaves no trace or damage of having used the product and it does a good job at all of these. It takes about 24 hours to dry in, with results visible in about 12 hours. You will probably need 2 applications for medium soiled mattress' and anywhere up to 6 isn't ridiculous for bad mattress'. However 1 coat on any stain will make it much much better, just not invisible. However despite these positives, which have mostly been about the actual chemical, this particular product is expensive. If you are needing something you can be certain that will help on a mattress in a hurry, buy this. It actually uses oxygen based bleaches, which is the same component in Cillit bang and other oxy products. I decided to but a tub of oxy powder to compare it to. What I didn't realise was that these products are not 100% identical, in fact they use a cheaper carbonate form that has the same effect, except gives of a carbonate byproduct instead of just water. Sort of like limescale. This is a problem in mattress' and this product gives an odd rough texture to the surface. I still think this product is worth 8 pounds just because I had an embarrassing stain I needed removed quickly. This certainly did the job well, but knowing what it is made up off makes it seem like it is expensive. I have however looked far afield and not found the aqueous form anywhere for cheaper, so maybe it is more expensive at wholesale than I imagine.

Does lighten stains but takes time
Skeptical to buy this as wasnt sure if it would work. It did lighten sweat & other stains gradually with use.Sprayed all over mattress and then went over the more stained areas again. Left to dry with the window open for a few hours and when i checked later the stains had lightened in colour. I got up early to do this and had to use multiple times to get better results. (2x a day over a couple of days) Only used enough to dampen the mattress not completely soak it so it would have time to dry. Stains will look worse when you spary them at first. The bottle and spray nozzle are seperate so you have to put the spray nozzle on yourself. The tube for the spray seems too long for the bottle so when you used the spray sometimes it wouldnt work but just had to shake the bottle. It is diluted bleaching agents but there isnt really any strong smell to it, if anything there is a faint one but hardly noticable.Give it 4 stars as it has lightened the worst of the stains which im happy with
