MIP makes some of the best tools out there and this one is no different. I needed a driver to work with the Vanquish SLW wheel hubs and this one is great. No issues accessing the wheel nut with the SLW hub and Method rims combo. Fit and finish are what you'd expect from MIP; perfectly machined, no slop/play when engaged on the nut, and plenty of grip in the hand. If you need an 8 mm nut driver for the SLW hubs, make sure it's the MIP Gen 2 as it has a thin wall design to fit. 10/10 would recommend.

Expensive but worth it especially when use as much as me I bought a traxxas set of tools then a 35$ set off amazon and don't get me wrong I still have and use daily both my cheaper sets you can use cheaper tools if you are careful I actually used my common sizes so much it just worn them down a little and didn't want to chance ruining screws if I have any doubt's of stripping I throw screw right away but these MIP tools are definitely worth the money I will be using these forever I am now switching everything over to MIP because they are quality fit perfectly and work amazing only have to buy once with these when used correctly

Incredibly well made, worth the extra money for a tool that won't strip. Very little (if any) play in the machining. Great grip and perfectly sized handle for working with tiny parts. Color coding on handle is surprisingly useful as telling the tiny sizes apart is tough by sight.

The good:MIP is simply the best. I would even say they are better than snap-on for the rc world. Yes they are a little pricey but worth it. How much is it worth it to you not strip out a screw in your expensive pride and joy rc vehicle, or even if it’s not expensive but that’s cause that’s all you can afford. Can you afford to pay for repairs or spend lots of money fixing it? Not to mention the frustration. Not these days. Anyway they’ve been making great tools for as long as I remember when I started doing rc stuff years ago and they have only improved. Can’t say enough good stuff about them.Now that I have gotten the good stuff out of the way here’s the bad:A little expensive. It’s super addicting, when you find a great tool, you can’t help but want to get every single one they offer that you need or could ever think of needing. Another bad thing, they have limited sizes, they will cover just about every common rc, most of the bigger 1/5 & 1/4 scale stuff but not all. It does look like they are working on expanding, since they just introduced a few more things. And the last bad thing; they don’t make regular hand tools just rc stuff, idk, maybe that’s a good thing cause I might go broke buying them. Anyway, you can’t go wrong with these, nothing else comes close, believe me I’ve tried. I’ve included a pic of what if bought so far and have a couple more on the way.

You can't beat MIPS tools. They might be expensive but the quality is unmatched. This works great for R/C car lug nuts, other nut drivers in this size were to thick on the OD, this one is perfect.

MIP makes great tools for rc. On the pricey side but I really enjoy them.
