A little disappointing.
This review may be a little premature as I have only been using the tape for a few days but I was recommended silicone tape instead of silicone gel, by my surgeon. I have had major surgery so my scars are long and extensive. The tape is really easy to apply but I have found it unfolds at the ends and curls over on itself throughout the day meaning more debri and clothing fibres stick to the tape making it much more difficult to keep clean. There is not enough tape in the pack to cover my scars so this may be more suitable and convenient if you have shorter/smaller scars and need to use less. It is easy to reapply after showering but it just doesn't adhere to the skin the same way. I have ran under warm water with a touch of soap and left to air dry but I have found it is similar to re using cellotape over and over again. It just doesn't work as well. HOWEVER, I have noticed that when I remove the tape to shower my scars are not as pink and it does seem to be having the desired effect. So overall, it seems to be working but it so inconvenient for my larger scars, in an ideal world I would use fresh tape everyday but this would be expensive.
